12 Cara Menguasai Bahasa Inggris sambil Internetan
1. Google Translate adalah sebuah kewajiban.
Atau, kalau mau lebih gampang, download saja kamus offline. Nggak ada ruginya punya app ini. Btw, aku tahu kalau google translate kadang salah menerjemahkan. But, to translate a word, and to know its pronunciation plus its many meanings, I guess GT is a wise choice.
2. Di twitter, followlah akun yang tweetsnya berbahasa inggris (-beginner)
Stalk. Retweet. Quote tweet. Waktu kelas 6, aku belajar bahasa Inggris lewat sini.
3. Tweet kalimat dalam bahasa Inggris secara rutin. Entah seminggu tiga kali atau setiap hari, up to you.
(Masih) Waktu kelas 6 dan 7, aku ngga cuma follow akun dengan tweets berbahasa Inggris, tapi juga nyoba buat kalimat keren dalam English. Yah, walaupun temanya ngga jauh dari cinta monyet ala anak SD, dulu aku ngerasa bangga banget berhasil nyusun kalimat-kalimat kurang dari 140 karakter😜.
4. Di Facebook, like The Muslim Show dan akun lain yang statusnya berbahasa inggris.
Stalk. Like. Share. Asik loh. Selain nambah pengetahuan agama, di situ kan tulisannya bahasa Inggris juga.

5. Tulis minimal 2 paragraf dalam bahasa Inggris di FB secara rutin.

7. Baca random articles di wikipedia
Beberapa bulan terakhir, aku berusaha stop searching di google pake bahasa Indonesia. Misalnya, aku lebih suka nulis "what is black hole" dibanding "definisi lubang hitam".
Terus, misalnya aku mau tahu tentang Lady Diana, aku lebih suka bacanya di wikipedia bahasa inggris (en.wikipedia.org) dibanding di id.wikipedia. Kenapa? Ya untuk latihan English donggg. (intermediate+)
8. Speak sentences
Pernah nggak sih ketemu kata yang rumit dalam English dan entah gmn bacanya? Saranku, sih, coba pake fitur speak di GT. (Kalau w lebih suka pake oxford dictionary hahaha w mah tradisional y?)
9. Catat kata-kata yang enggak dimengerti--plus artinya, juga plus contoh kalimat. Bisa di buku catatan, notepad, notes, etc.
Contoh:
Ballot= surat suara // they counted the ballots
Elected= dipilih // he was elected as the first president of this country
Constellation= rasi, perbintangan, konstelasi // my thoughts are stars i can't put into constellations
10. Duolingo is available, Guys!
Ini adalah aplikasi untuk belajar bahasa asing. Untuk yang belajar bahasa Inggris (beginner, karena untuk intermediate ke atas... I guess the lessons will be easy for ya), I recommend this for ya! Ini bisa didownload di app store, playstore, dan bahkan ada webnya, www.duolingo.com. Belajar di Duolingo berasa main game loh. Grammar, speaking, dan listening diajarkan di sini. Overall, sih, this is good enough.
11. Be in love with this language.
Love conquers all, including laziness to learn!
12. Use google!
There are umpteen websites that are written in English. I literally meant it.
13. Open these recommended websites:
brainyquote.com - you can find many quotes from many authors and many many many public figures, maybe including the awesome Swift, the handsome Zayn, till the great Obama.
goodreads.com - it has lots of quotes and many books synopsis and reviews. Great to improve our English.
iliketoquote.com - quotes
youtube.com - look for song (with its lyrics if needed), listen to it, to improve your listening skill

When I wrote that, I might be confused about how to write openings in Indonesian bcs I really wanted to write it in English but it was just gonna make the post pointless. Or maybe I had no idea how to write the opening. Yeah.
Mmm, I think sometimes I will post some posts in English. I'm sorry if English is not your favourite language, but (un)fortunately I have fallen in love with it....
