This is my favourite Orruk in terms of pose. The photo below is at an earlier stage than this finished photo.
Done!(Apart from basing ) Blue armour: Caledor sky drybrushed on top of the McCragge blue. Tusks and teeth are ushbati bone then heavy agrax earthshade wash followed by screaming skull and then white scar drybrush. Gone a little easier on the rusting. I prefer this colour scheme, better contrast-guess it is a very much Ork Deathskull clan type colour scheme. The idea is the more important the Orruk (Still can't get used to that name) the more blue in their armour. I think I will do a snow base effect. Also might later add in some blood splatter effects.
New colourscheme. Think this will contrast better when finished. Models above just basecoated. Mcgragge blue, ushbati bone for tusks and ulthuan grey for white detailing the new colours. . Next up a final bit of basecoating on weapon hafts, tidy up and then it will be inks away!
Stage 4: Flesh highlighted with warboss green and then Skarsnik green. Red highlighted with evil sunz red and then wild rider red. Ulthuan grey used on some of the white parts. Finished! Really enjoyed Stage 3, don't get to be that messy with my elder. Questions I have are: Does the red work on the horns or would another colour work better? How should I base him and the other boys? Would blue be better than white where I have used it.
Stage 3: Typhus corrosion. Then drybrush Ryza Rust. The runefang steelbto edges.
Stage 2: Waagh flash for the skin. Celeste grey on jaw, shoulder plate and belly skull, mephiston red on horns, scorched brown on leather. Biel fan shade wash for skin, agrax earthshade for all else. Next up Rust!
Testing out my scheme in a single model before batch paint. First step: Leadbelcher followed by nuln oil wash on most of the armour panels and choppas.
Gorilla glue arrived. Pondering now whether to do a conversion on the hag. Chop the net off the hand and add something else in.
The boyz are now assembled. Will try my paint scheme out on these fellas before assembling the warchanter and gore-gruntas.
10 Orruk ard boyz assembled. Will try my paint scheme out on these before assembling the rest.
It has arrived! 10 orruk ardboyz, 3 gore gruntas and 1 warchanter. Let the assembly begin!

Calling it an eve on this chap, he need edge highlights and tidying, but good progress.
Dark grey blue on the metal bits, bleached bone and white edging on cream parts. Visor must have some primer wedged in the detail, hard to define the line between the visor and the bottom of the mask. Regretting sticking on the head. Should have kept it separate as the fit doesn't matter unlike an arm or leg join.
Yellow olive shade, medium yellow highlight
Al fasid, armour base done in straken green. Good to record in case of repeating the same greens.

Jo has expressed interest in painting some AoS, so may well find her way to posting progress and decisions here.
