Heyoo queso! How r things doin for ya? After I read some of your latest posts with your new Primordial Gods AU, it got me thinking after a quick google search on what primordial gods are;
as you can see the word "original" really caught my attention cuz it would mean that before the current celestial primates there were countless others before them—implying that they have a CYCLE where if one of them dies they eventually get replaced by a new one so on so forth so WHAT IF it'd be funny... if during Mac's travels he comes across a monkey completely unrelated to him that have six genuine ears. Cuz y'know, he died at some point what if by the time he was revived the universe already made a new one and with his revival it caused an error in the system, not only that but what if this isn't the first time a celestial primate has caused an error, could be by a predecessor or by Wukong himself when he turned immortal or Mk actually being an ERROR himself when Nuwa created him as a sacrifice.
Either way, Mac's revival caused an error and so too is Mk's existense, not to mention Xiaoxing in Mac's stomach, imagine if Chaos finds out or is already aware of all the errors.
Anyways basically what I'm suggesting is Mac gets his own successor but it comes basically out of nowhere for him and he doesn't know how to handle it and Mk deals with the fact that he's not the only one who's practically a copy of someone else, could be some bonding in that if you think of it.
You are so close to cracking open my mind cause you had one thing right that I haven’t even mentioned before lmaooo
So the “Original” comment doesn’t mean what you think it does but is actually referring to how I consider the four celestial primates to be one of a kind, meaning they were created by the universe instead of gods, so when I made that comment I was kinda referring to the divide between Wukong/the celestial primates and MK, who was created by Nuwa and in order to make him into a celestial primate had to borrow Wukong’s birthstone and magic to make it happen,,, this is important because just like the primordial gods, the four celestial primates were created directly by the universe, and not Nuwa, who we know created every living being on Earth,,,, so while Chaos is fascinated by MK, he still sees the involvement of Nuwa within him and essentially sees him as any other mortal/celestial except with an affinity to chaos and the capability for more,, the celestial primates however he finds interesting because they essentially have the magic to become like the primordial gods because they are made of the same universes dust as they are, and actively watching them act like mortals intrigues him a lot
This doesn’t mean I don’t hc there being a cycle for the celestial primates,,, I view it like the avatar where the same soul just keeps getting recycled and they get the same title and everything,,, tho it’s difficult for each celestial primates to continue the cycle because they are extremely hard to kill off,,, even in the case of Macaque,, whose soul has to be recycled first in order for another six-eared macaque to be created, but since he never fully died and was basically in limbo until his revival, his souls was just stationary and thus Macaque stayed as the Six-Eared Macaque.
So while that was a really good theory, it wouldn’t happen in the primordial AU
