I don’t agree with everything in here. But I think this is an accurate summation of the genius of this album.
BUNBURY 5/31/2019 FALL OUT BOY MERCH
Pete continuing to do his thing even after all these years

tttyg patrick was one of the best eras he’s so adorable and i don’t believe anyone else’s lies
Let me tell you a fun story about TTTYG era Patrick.
The first time I ever saw FOB play live was March 14th, 2004. They were supporting Mest and played at a venue called The Cockpit in Leeds. After the show, the band were mingling at the back of the venue when this kid staggered around the corner. He was wearing a Mest shirt, he’d clearly been at the show and, worst of all, he was bleeding pretty heavily from his nose/mouth. He was also sobbing, straight up, ugly crying.
Patrick stopped him: “Hey, man. What happened, are you okay?”
The kid stopped, he was still crying, he shrugged and said he’d come to the show with a friend, they’d had a falling out, the friend had punched him in the face and taken off. Patrick puts his arm around the kid. Pete comes over.
Pete asks what’s up. Patrick says “His friend just bust his fucking nose, I dunno, he’s really upset.”
Pete looks Patrick dead in the eyes and says, “His FRIEND… just PUNCHED HIM… in the… FACE??? WHO would DO something like THAT???”
Patrick went very red and mumbled something at his converse about Pete totally deserving it. Patrick says they can’t just leave him here, he’s super upset, he’s bleeding, it turns out the kid’s friend had his bus money to get home so now he’s stranded. They have to get him home.
So, the night ended for that kid with Patrick from Fall Out Boy (accompanied by Pete, of course) taking him to McDonalds and buying him a burger and a milkshake and sitting with him until his nose stopped bleeding. Then they put him on the bus home and paid for his fare.
I often wonder if that kid - who was a Mest fan, not a FOB fan and will be in his 30s now - still points to their videos when they come on TV and says “Hey… that dude once made my night a little less shitty.”
In short, TTTYG era Patrick was one of the nicest dudes on the scene I ever met.
Certainly one of the best moments from The Grammys. Source: eentertainment Twitter

“Dance, Dance” is a song by American pop punk band Fall Out Boy and the second single from their second studio album, From Under the Cork Tree. Released in October 2005, it became the band’s second consecutive top 10 hit single.
“Dance, Dance is probably the best thing I’ve ever done.” - Patrick Stump
not to be that person thats like “BANDOM EMOS GET OWNED BY ELDER EMO!!1!1!1!!!” or whatever but someone commented on an insta post about Joe doing the Panic! drunk history with something like “ok but they should all do it I’ve got their personalities down perfectly I’m a pro at this I know exactly what they’d all be like drunk it would be hilarious they should all do it together.”
“But Andy is straight edge.”
