An important reason why my minecraft screenshots are "shiddy" is because I'm trying to mimic tourist photos and unskilled civilian photography. If you look through personal photos people took from the 1960s up until the 2010s, the composition and "look" of the photos is beyond terrible. You can't even call it amateur photography because no one took those photos because they loved taking pictures; all that mattered was capturing the memory of that Cool Thing you saw or did. I feel like most minecraft screenshots these days are aesthetically polished and pinterest-perfect, which is fine. I just want my screenshots to feel like actual photos I took while being a tourist in my world.

My brother made a minecraft server SOLELY so he could play with me and my silly ass was like "...... can we use this cool seed I found ? 8|" and he fucking loves it

I originally made this blog because I didn't want to bother the people in my life with all my minecraft screenshots and adventures. Whenever I wanted to text the groupchat, I made a post on here instead. Now I feel like that went somewhere because I had SO MANY POSTS to show my brother and he immediately went "I want to live in the portal base. Send me the seed so we can go to the portal base right now."

I'm just happy.

I decided to restore the ancient city. Got 3 buildings done today. I'm going to line the streets with wool since I have to replace it all anyway.

Idk if I AM depressed, but something's just kinda gotten into me. It's a thing to do, I guess, but I just have no ambition for anything whatsoever. Like ever.

We're beginning work on the ancient city we found under our second base. We start all projects by lighting up the perimeter, but the city is bigger than we imagined. We were thinking of making a scaffolding above the city so we could observe it from afar. We also need to extract some of the weird blocks to figure out what they do. We're still arranging an elevator situation, but we're using scaffolding blocks for now.

The important reason you should play several characters in a minecraft roleplay is so you can have one character who is very serious and reacts responsibly to everything that happens in-game, and another character that acts as your outlet for saying "yay yippee!!" whenever something bad but fun to play through happens.

Eugh 😬. I found this shit right under our ghast cavern yesterday. We'll have to get more torches and assess it soon. I've never seen a skulk ruin structure or whatever it is, so I'm excited to see if that's what that thing is in the last picture?
