Was feeling the urge to make a sentient pokemon blog, and shieldon is one of my favorites so I figured I'd give this a whirl <3
Technically inspired by @/wingsofachampion (I don't know if they mind @'s) but I don't have any knowledge about the PMD games so instead take this little revived dinosaur living in an enclosure in Sinnoh!

I do not mind answering higher stakes things. I even enjoy it sometimes!! But I try to keep this blog light purely because I know people need the fools in the back of a Shakespeare tragedy sometimes and I'm happy to provide that.

Hi, Eria! I'm curious, do you ever paint battles at tournaments or anything? I've always found some move colors really pretty, and was wondering if you've ever tried to capture that in a piece?
oh yeah, i've gone to like. local gym tournaments in the past, they're always really neat for coming up with ideas. i haven't gone recently but i really should go to another soon...
anyways. here's a piece i did for one of my local teams.
the battler's name is "comet" which considering he loves using flare blitz to take out his opponents... makes a lot of sense. he gets chewed out about it by his coach for it all the time according to interviews haha

It's very odd interacting with some of the other shieldon sometimes. We definitely share thoughts and interests (eating berries... Polishing shields on trees...) but at the same time I know I am very different from them, in a way I can not describe and do not understand.

By all known laws of aviation! There is no way a combee should be able to fly!! There's no way it's little wings should be able to lift its body off of the ground! The combee does not care!! And it flies anyways!!!
Anyone else think that Fossil 'mon are so cool? The fact that we've developed the technology to revive entire species from small fragments of life encased in rock.
I must say I do love how many pokemon that can speak and type I'm getting to meet. It makes me wonder if my own pokemon companions are holding out on me sometimes. Would they like to start they're own poketumblr? Can they even?
Anyway, I actually have plans to start a week talking about ancient pokemon like yourself. Would you have anything you'd like to share about your experience as a Shieldon? A lot of the younger kids love learning about pokemon like yourself and they always have a lot of questions that I don't always have the answers to.
Maybe you should ask!!! I think a lot of pokemon out there have a lot to say!!!
Oh you work with smaller humans??? That's so cool!!! Sometimes they come by on "Field-trips"!!! They're always so fun to play with!!!
Mm, Well as a shieldon and an "am-bass-uh-door" as my guardians call me I obviously have many very important duties- like headbutting trees to keep my armor nice and shiny- oh oh! and eating berries!! Easily the most important of all!!!! ummmm oh oh and sitting and turning while my guardians talk about me and my species!!! Hope that helps!!!
Well you certainly are a great Ambassador, Aegis. I'll have to share some of these notes with my class. As I'm not certain where you or your guardians are in the world, I can't promise that my kids will be coming by on a field trip.
