Accidentally steeped my 🍵 too long…🤦🏻♀️ But I’ve checked off everything on my to-do list and spent an extra hour being productive and reviewing chemistry and amino acid structures!👍🏼

The notes for computing we’ve been given aren’t great, I’m going to see if I can find some better ones tomorrow. I’ll also do some experiment work for physics in school.
First post of 2018! And posting on a friday??? what??! A huge deal for me. The dangerous combination of jet lag + school has got me a little bit crazy lately… Traveling will always be something that I feel really blessed to get to do; But there’s nothing like coming back home. As exhausted as I am, I sure am glad to be back.

Today I’m seeing my closest friend from home for the first time in months! I’ve missed her so much while I’ve been away at college
I made a study gram!

{Study Tips #1 Methods for Studying}
🗝 READ YOUR TEXTBOOK. Even for your math and physical science classes. At the beginning of each chapter, you’ll find a section that gives the key terms, objectives, and core concepts. At the end of each chapter, you’ll find a short summary and review questions. I find these things very helpful when studying for exams. In order to understand how to solve problems in math, you need to understand the concepts. For your theoretical classes, these sections are vital in studying I think.
🗝 TURN YOUR NOTES INTO FLASH CARDS. If your professor gives handouts of their PowerPoint slides, it’s even better, but if you have to write your own notes, that’s fine too! Once you have the notes, convert them into flash card form. I love using Quizlet because it saves time and energy. Even if some of the flash cards are questions on one side and the answer(s) on the other, I feel this method is really helpful.
This is an example of how I use Quizlet to make flash cards.
🗝 USE QUIZLET. This goes back to the last point. I love using quizlet bc you can look up other study sets that other people have made (to better your knowledge and understanding of a topic) and you can make your own study sets. The good thing about quizlet is you can test yourself on the flash cards because the website generates the flash cards into different types of questions (mcq, fill in the blank, T/F, writing, etc.) This website is also an app, so you can study on the go!
