Welcome Home

A year was a long time to be gone, but it felt like longer considering the fact that she heard from him all of once during that elapsed time. But it is what it is, and the day that Haru was supposed to come back home was finally there. Sometimes she was still incredulous that he saw this tuna fishing dream to fruition even a little bit, but if it made the noir happy she couldn’t exactly tell him no. The third year of high school had kept her plenty busy now that she didn’t have Haru to compete with for any of the exams. She graduated top of the class naturally, but a tiny part of it felt like a hollow victory since the only person in their class who’d ever shown her any real competition academically had been in another country. But that too is what it is.

The terminal wasn’t as busy as she expected it to be, but that was a good thing, it meant the brunette made it to the airport in time and could read a book while she waited for news of Haru’s flight to come in on the intercom. Yes, just a book for fun for once. She’d already done the entrance exams for her university and she didn’t yet have her textbook for her classes for the first semester, so pleasure reading it is. There were no games on her phone obviously, and reading was less mindless anyway.

Okay because I have a feeling it may be awhile if ever that I hear from this other TnK person (bless ur soul btw for trying Haru this fandom has been dead for idk how long), I’m not going to rework this blog to another muse like I was planning to (and had logged on to do so ironically lol) and I’ll leave it as is.

So on that note, anyone can find me here or here basically all the time now, I’ve been in sports anime hell since 2013. But Haru mun if you happen to come back on this blog, go shoot me a message on either of those accounts and throw a chicken and tell Shizuku to come back or something, I’ll be over here in a heartbeat.
