About Paul Stuart Custom
@007 was the epitome of charm and grace, with an irritable temper at times . His relationship with women, that's a different story. You'll have to watch these movies to see him at work which by the way, may I start by suggesting Dr No. Also, here's a little something I stumbled across, a sketch of the Iconic American agent, by it's writer Ian Flemming. It was commissioned to aid the Daily Express comic strip artist. http://bit.ly/zjzcgH
A New Sheriff In Town!
There is a new sheriff in town @keinobenz and it's this unique, stylish Men's accessory called the pocket-round! No matter how hard we try or how much we frown, our gentleman friend will forever be around.
He knows the many ways of the world and gets more impressive with just a twirl. Pay close attention to his confidence and how he fully understanding what it takes to render an outfit inspirational, fresh and timeless. http://etsy.me/z0X3hB
Working Your Way Up!
Before I worked for Ralph Lauren, I knew little about building inspiration boards, but by the time I left the company, I had mastered the art of "Inspirational" board building. It's beautiful the latitude you get with Grey as your dominant color, which catches a fire, when paired with shades of Lavender/Purple as supporting colors.
By the way, notice the Pocket-Round? , Are you in love yet? Isn't it something? I was gifted to me as a wedding present, from Raphael Schwartz, owner of Bespoke Tailors-who also altered my wedding suit. It is one of the most stylish ones I've seen out there, for Men's accessories. They're good at enhancing personalities and polishing up charms, I tell you that much. I'm one to believe If you're dressing your clients in pocket-rounds, then consider yourself a few steps ahead of the game. Pssst, here is a good place to start your collection, Alexander Olch.
Carmelo Anthony By Haute Living!
Here is my confession! I love this ensemble worn by Mr. New York Knick @carmeloanthony on @HauteLivingMag December 2011 / January 2012 cover. First time I laid eyes on it, instantaneously it became one of my all time favorites! A little Blues Brothers, meets Vegas/young RatPack and 1940s Harlem. It deserves a standing ovation in my opinion.

I've always been a big fan of Nick Nolte! He's hard, arrogant, a loose cannon, but one hell of an actor. Here's a snippet from the conversation he had with GQ's Chris Heath! I can't wait for his show on HBO.
Nick Nolte in GQ-
"When you start thinking about death more than sex," reflects Nick Nolte, "you know you're getting old." Nolte, who is 70, sits at a table in the garden of his Malibu home, mulling it over. "At 70, you crest that hill. In the sixties you're still thinking you could do something about this slow disintegration of the body. As Katharine Hepburn used to say to me: 'Aging, Nick, is boring.' Now I know what she means."
Dj Nit!
When I styled Dj Nit for this photo shoot, my aim was to unite the past 20 years of his influences, in a place where it all started. His bedroom.
More Tailors, Please!
The fact that Men today spend more money on their clothes than men many years ago, I am shocked more department stores with a Men's formal wear department haven't taken a stronger initiative to employ more in-house Tailors. When ever I look around, I see way to many of my fellow Men draped in ill fitted suits and not a clue of how it is supposed to fit or feel.
Tonight is movie night and I'm in a sentimental mood. I am in Melbourne, Australia for a few months and New York City has been on my mind lately. So, in honor of my wonderful city, and it's creative, hardworking locals, I thought Tamra Davis' film Radiant Child about Artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, set in New York, would be a good way to pay homage to the city that never sleeps and (SAMO). You can watch the next six parts on youtube. Enjoy!
Jean-Michel Basquiat!
The Arroz con Pollo by Jean-Michel Basquiat is one of my all time favorites of his work! It's dysfunctional, with a touch of tradition and splashes of social ineptness!
I Think She Feels It!
I was going through my 2011 archive and look what I came across! One of my favorite photographs of a natural moment in time. All I can think of when I look at her expression is how good she must be feeling. Dancing renews hearts!
It Must Be Love!
Every Pot Has A Lid!
Tatjana Plitt!
Here is artist Tatjana Plitt dressed as her favorite artist, the one and only @JanelleMonae. A gracious effort In my opinion! Tatjana admires strong, intelligent women like herself, who're engaged with the world around them and are inspired to do positive things for change.
Stripes!
Assembling an all strip ensemble requires one basic understanding, and that is none of your stripes should be the same width!
Like you, when I get dressed each day it is with one goal in mind, and that is to look good, if by chance I receive a compliment from a stranger, I consider it a bonus. Our clothes tell an accurate story about us and our personalities, which can be quite powerful when we know how to dress for the occasion. Today we're dealing with stripes and contrast, two important elements in mastering the art of dressing well. So, here are the bare facts, If your stripes are all of the same width, you run the risk of appearing flat and quite frankly, boring. On the other hand when your stripes are different sizes, you not only appear interesting, unique and inviting, but people gravitate to you with compliments and good wishes.
To further illustrate this point, I've put together a simple and straightforward little diagram below, for your amusement. PS, notice how the extra touch of elegance our round gold cuff-links brought to an all stripe stag party?
Diagram A: Squares all same sizes.=(No contrast)
Diagram B: Squares all different sizes=(contrast, depth and uniqueness)
The Gentleman From France!
Have you been formerly introduced to @HauteLivingMag Haute Living's flip book online? Well, I think you should, so here it is and have your fill. Now, as a former member of Polo Ralph Lauren, I do feel a dash of loyalty towards Pages 2-3, but my natural affection for simplicity has swayed my wondering heart towards Page 6-7! Now I am not saying the 867 isn't a beauty, by all means it is a sexy one, but the Bell & Ross just has such irresistible charm and elegance I can't shake.
Legendary photographer Bruce Weber once again created a masterpiece when he turned the movie camera on American Icon and Jazz legend Chet Baker. Weber's raw and candid documentary gives the world an intimate look at the bumpy and sad life of this sincere, Olkahoma boy who despite his unique talents, got lost in his incurable vices. Many esteemed Baker as the best trumpeter of his time and rightfully so. For me he took root in my heart the first time I heard his calming, childlike, velvety voice on Dad's record player. "Let's Get Lost" which inspired the movie, "I've Never Been In Love Before, "Someone To Watch Over Me" and one of my personal favorite, "My Funny Valentine" are only a few masterpieces Chet Baker bequeath the world of music. Let's Get Lost, is a heartbreakingly beautiful film, with some unforgettable music. Yes it's dark at times and raw to the core, but isn't also the world pool that is life, which one can easily get lost in!
