A Thanksgiving afternoon...

Locked inside the guest room and further securely locked in the confines of a dog-cage; he waited...

She had told him he would have his portion of the food before Her circle of friends arrive. After all, he earned it; the Thanksgiving feast meticulously prepared by himself earlier, in addition to tidying up the house since dawn and setting the dinner table perfectly.

She finally opened the door, hours after he had been left alone, Her presence radiating the aura of a true Goddess. With the door swung open, the faint aroma of roasted turkey wafted in, the scent intensifying his quiet torment.

"Shh, my guests will be here in a moment, remain quiet!" she commanded sharply. Without another word, she turned and left, the faint trail of Her perfume lingering in the room, as if a reminder of Her all-powerful presence.

He remained still, the sound of laughter and chatter slowly filling the house as Her guests arrived. The locked door muffled the festivities, leaving him hungry and surrendered in isolation. Only when the house would be silent again, hours later, would She return to release him and set him back to work cleaning up the remnants of the celebration.
