“I don’t know. I thought I had it on me at the P&P but it’s not there,”
Is it gold, silver, chain, plain?
"It's gold with little pineapple charms,"
“If you wouldn’t mind sir. I’d appreciate it very much”
“No problem. What’s it look like? Any charms?”
"It was a charm bracelet with little fruits on it, sir," Cherry chewed her bottom lip. "I hope I can find it,"
“I don’t suppose anyone’s seen a little bracelet around have they? It isn’t much…but I can’t seem to find it,”
I haven’t but I can help you look.
"If you wouldn't mind sir. I'd appreciate it very much"
“I don’t suppose anyone’s seen a little bracelet around have they? It isn’t much…but I can’t seem to find it,”
What does it look like?
"It's a simple little chain with pineapple charms on it. It was given to me by my friend, miss,"
“We’re always going to make sure you get some sunshine, James. We’re..we’re always going to be there for you,” Her voice faultered making her stumble over the words. She wanted to be there. She’d always try to be, but the choice wasn’t always in her hands. Cherry pressed her lips together, looking up at her cherished friend. “You always make me happy, James. Always,” She reached up and brushed his hair away from his brow tenderly. “I’d be happy if I could be with you,”
He didn’t often do emotions, it really wasn’t his thing but with Cherry it was impossible not to. They had been close for too long for him to not feel upset whenever she was. He would be lying if he said he understood everything about property submissives, but he did know that Cherry was worth so much more than that title. “And eventually you will. You’re not going to be there forever.”
"With you? And Daniel?" She asked hopefully. Her heart started pounding in her chest. All she wanted was a life with her friends. True, she wanted to find love, but she'd never find that under the Erlking's fist.
“I don’t suppose anyone’s seen a little bracelet around have they? It isn’t much…but I can’t seem to find it,”
“What did it look like? I saw this tiny thing with pineapple charms on it and pocketed it but I’m not sure if it’s what you’re looking for.”
"Oh! oh, that's it! Sir Daniel got it for me on one of his trips! Do you still have it? It's one of the few things my master let me have!"

I don’t believe I have seen it, dear. Where is the last place you remember seeing it on?
I wish I knew, mistress. I went to put it on and it wasn't where I put it. I checked at the restaurant but it's not there.
"I don't know. I thought I had it on me at the P&P but it's not there,"
“We’re always going to make sure you get some sunshine, James. “I’d be happy if I could be with you,”
“But you make me happy,” She said. This conversation they’d had forever and she somehow knew that it would never end either. It was an endless cycle, but it made her glad in someway. “You always have. I always want you to be happy, even though I know you’d be glad to be a bitter hermit for the rest of your life,” Her lips quirks upwards as she teased him.
Cherry laughed with him before untucking her head to look up at him. His smile was a rare thing. She always did her best to keep him smiling but she didn't always have success. "If it makes you happy Daniel should cook all the time," she smiled gently.
She hugged the switch closer. She nuzzled her head closer to his throat to hear his breath and heartbeat. Sometimes she wondered what it would be like to hear those sounds every day. To be In a home where she could cook out of love and want and not just for employment. Her heart ached so hard that a deep part of her wanted to sob. She had never wanted anything so much in her life, but it was something she couldn't exactly ask for. "James, what are you talking about? I'm a chef. You two wouldn't cook. I would," She laughed weakly. "But you're right. No one can make tea like you can,"
Cherry pressed her face against his shoulder, taking in the scent of his shirt and soap. She tried not to be too tactile with James. She knew he could be funny about touching, but she couldn't help herself. She just needed too. She just needed to be close to him and feel his warmth and his strong arms. It was different than being in people's arms who didn't care. "If I could be with you or Daniel forever, I'd never complain about anything ever again," Cherry said in a small voice. They had all joked about her staying with them, of what their futures could be like, but she'd never said the words out loud. She was scared of rejection or it being impossible. She would be expensive and didn't want to be that kind of burden on James.
Cherry shook her head and stepped forward, fitting herself against James and hugging him tight. She didn’t know how else to express everything she was feeling. She never wanted to be apart from him again. She had already experienced that once when he was drawn to the other world for a number of years.
“I just...want to be safe,” She murmured against him. “I don’t ever want to lose you, James,”
“I don’t suppose anyone’s seen a little bracelet around have they? It isn’t much...but I can’t seem to find it,”
“Of course, we’re going to be here, James. We’ll keep trying to socialize you, don’t worry,” She said with a soft smile. His words touched her and she gave a little laugh. “Making people happy…I’ve never thought of it like that. I do like making people happy. Especially those I care about,”
Cherry chuckled as Nimue bit at James’ sleeve, growling and tugging playfully. The rolly polly pup clearly wanted attention of the two people around her.
James pulled a face when he felt the pup tugging at his sleeve, turning his head back to the little thing so that he could give it more attention just to stop her from being a bother. He was still getting used to the new addition to the shop.
“Exactly, so you’re not lying to anyone about anything,” he told her with a small smile, “And you know when you’re with me that you’re anything but a property submissive. You’re just Cherry, even if I can only give you that for a couple of hours.”
Cherry chuckled as James' face wrinkled slightly at Nimue. She gently pried the pup's teeth off his sleeve and ruffled Nimue's ears. "Stop being naughty," she scolded teasingly and set the dog on the ground.
"I know, James. You don't know how much it means that I can just be me...I've always been able to just be me with you. I'm just a worrywart is all," Cherry said, looking up at him. She didn't want to give her master any reason to be suspicious of her or risk losing her privileges to see James with what little freedom She has.
F2F || Cherry & Daniel 9-16
Daniel set everything up carefully. The table was done up with nice linens, the flowers in the vase the same ones that’d been picked with Cherry days beforehand and they added some character.
Most of their hangouts were either quiet, content days at either his place or James’ place, or some grand adventure and he was hoping to find a happy medium to settle into. Hence, tea party. A more adult tea party. The kind his mother and father had both hosted when the occasion called for it. Once everything was set up he went back to the front of the shop and started to lock up for the evening, sure his friend would be here soon. Her Master would ensure it since he’d paid the fee.

Cherry hurried to the antique shop like there were wings on her ankles. She was always happy to spend time with Daniel. He hadn't told her what they were doing which lead to fantastical ideas in her head. She entered the shop with the cheery chiming of the bell and scanned around for her friend. "Daniel?"
