Well now that some things are sort of set in stone I can finally let everyone know that: A) I got a job as an Assistant Teacher at Primrose School of Legacy in Omaha, a private preschool. I start on Monday B) Ryan and I are gonna be on the waitlist for an apartment in Omaha (hopefully we’ll be moving in by March- we’ll see!) This wasn’t quite the plan for what I wanted to be doing for a job/career, but sometimes you just gotta make decisions that will lead to being able to take care of yourself in the moment.

That being said…I am NOT at all giving up on my dream of a career in graphic design. There’s just going to be a partial pause. I am ALL ABOUT that freelancing from home idea right now. I’m going to try my hardest to pursue this in my time outside of my new job so I can gain the experience that I didn’t quite have built up yet outside of school. So if any of my friends, teachers, or family know of anyone needing something done involving the skills that I have please feel free to get in touch with me!

This is a big, exciting, and sort of scary thing for me to be moving out of Lincoln. Yes, I realize that I’m only going to be 45 minutes away from home, but I have literally been in Lincoln my WHOLE life and known nothing more than what is here. I am a ridiculous homebody and my comfort zone is here. A lot of the root of my anxieties comes from being away from home. Support, and well wishes are appreciated!
