New York at night passing the Con-Ed building on Avenue C.
UN building as seen from the East River walkway.
Different weather, same view.
Western view of a rainy night in NYC.
Stopped in at REI on Houston and had never noticed these excavated lithographic stones. I am perplexed that the diploma plate is not a mirror image?
Gas station on the East River.
Love the red and my shadow on it.
This sad tree needs water and soil fast.
I see sheet music.
Plane overhead. One taken this spring and the other in Brooklyn January 2016 after the big snow storm.
Gooey, gushy foam undulating on the East River. I said ewww and others say ewe.
On the East River Park there is the small beach area with old piles from a pier and some metal, sand and rocks. I like to imagine this is where the mermaids and seals hang out. This week I walked and noticed the water was much higher than usual. There was no sandy beach at all and the piers were barely visible.
Seen on Bowery. Love love love.
On April 1, 2017, the sea foam, pale turquoise color appeared at numerous times.
I seem to like repetition and grids.
This inverted pylon was seen plugging up a hole in the street at the corner of 14th street and 1st avenue. Useful.
I did these paper woven landscapes in my advanced studio class at ESC Fall 2016. I thought the original photographs turned into woven abstractions of the Catskill Mountains looked like a city skyline and realized my view of the city was indeed very similar.
