the telling sign it’s time to move on from a friendship, is the last 20 days. not wanting to talk to them with such traumatic events happening around the world, because their privilege and sense of entitlement is amplified so much, you can’t bring yourself to interact with codependent individuals who think the world should make life as easy and simple as possible for them . How can you interact with someone like that when there are children being murdered? Entire families being wiped out? With no power to help their situation? I can’t. I can’t do it I will lose my mind

26 & torn apart

She was like....everything I had ever hoped for, but nothing I’ve ever seen.

You know, like a dream. A conglomerate of subconscious desires that only seem to come to reality in my fantasies. Fantasies I couldn’t control. Like my hand was playing the lottery with my emotions. Drawing the random numbers of beautifully depicted portraits I painted on my memory’s canvas. And selecting these in the order I had planned it as if reality introspected me and said “I’m gonna randomly make your wildest fantasies in the form of her” and poof there she was.

Existed. Just as I had hoped for. Like a folklore. A legend I used to believe would come true if I smoked more because I was aiming high and like a rainy sky she fell like an amazing cry of my suppressed tears that I endured, waiting patiently for her to come for so many years and now, the puddle of my tears stand before me in the shape of her essence but even in her presence, it’s hard to accept her as a gift in the present because of past disappointments.

Even tho she had nothing to do with my past. The point is I have open wounds. And she is like the alcohol that I can’t see past the burn, because if I can see past that, I’ll learn that she’s here to make me better because I’m sick. Sick of dreaming dreams and dreaming things and waking up asking what these dreams really mean.
