Why does lars have a job at the big donut? Wouldn't he be out there chasing corrupted gems?

He hasnt really felt the drive to be out there, thinking his only power is the shield, and his own self confidence and interests in the normal mortal stuff, he hasnt had a reason to unless it was at the house

Would steven get a family discount from the big donut?

Hmm probably ! Hed also probably get invited to after foot traffic hour movie nights where they go to the backroom theyve made into a hideout/lounge room to hang

Do Lars’s canon parents exist in this AU in some way?

Hmm I'm not sure actually it is something to think about..perhaps their teachers and can be mentors to lars

Was lars was jealous when steven came along?

Oh definitely was, Steven started getting all the attention at first until he realized Steven gave his absolute attention to Lars, this caused Lars to talk to Steven a lot when Steven could talk but this backfired on him cause now Steven is very close to lars

Wait. Does Steven and Lars share the same bed or like bunk beds?

I like to think they share the same room and all but different beds however I think when Steven has nightmares he goes to Lars bed but ultimately he gets too good of a sleep and kicks lars onto the floor 😬 remind to draw that later on actually

Does lars's fusion with other Gems would be the same with steven or different?

Different in regards to appearance and how said gem would react/ if it was an accident or somethin !

Does lars body work the same as a human or his body processes food another way? Like, if he ate a hamburger and he gets full for the rest of the day

I would assume he has the same digestive system and everything as a human Male except he doesnt need as much food or sleep , basically acts almost like a normal teen, except he heals remarkably fast from wounds like Steven does - but I would think their organs make room for their gems possibly not even having the useless organ such as a pancreas removed/not born with it

Oh ! Your questions are really nice and have my brain working ! Hmm I would say hes the same in the regards of being embarassed by Steven in public places but Steven accidentally being really cool - and such - Lars does care for Steven and looks out for him but he feels insecure and scared

Who is considered the lead character? Since steven and Lars seems like they would fight for the spotlight

Hmmm when I think about how I want the story as of rn, I believe Steven would still be in the spotlight since Lars at first doesnt want the attention nor to be "embarassed" of brotherly love or his own powers

Yes they do ! Tho they may be slightly different up close and Lars may be slightly more gem than Steven is !

Can we see the "Stars Diamond" fusion?

Heres two colored concepts of Stars , the pink diamond fusion ! We figured lars would be more prominent (my drawing doesnt show it much but he has more chub, bigger chest, and cheeks like Steven does) ! Sol drew the first picture early this year !
