Do you talk to your moms a lot? I hope it doesn’t feel too long. It’s really cool this place does things and events and stuff to spice stuff up.
Yeah, pretty regularly. Every few days, once a week at least. I’m an only child, so they keep good track of me. Yeah, I’ve always appreciated the events, even if not every one is everyone’s cup of tea. They try to mix it up. Without them, even a tropical paradise would get pretty boring after a bit.

Okay, I get that she’s your mom so this is easier said than done, but it’s time to stop talking to her. I don’t mean just today. The words ‘It’s ok’ were right on the tip of his tongue, but he knew they would do little or nothing for Brandon. He couldn’t accept that it was ok to raise his voice. Not now, maybe never. He hoped that wasn’t true, but it could be and if Jamie was going to be with Brandon than he needed to adapt and be what the submissive needed. For both of their sakes. “I understand that you you are frustrated and therefore readily accept your apology. Unless you feel it is necessary, I think we can forego any punishment.” He hated that Brandon had moved away, but for the moment allowed the boy the space he needed. “I feel as though I am partially responsible for your frustration. Jamie knew that Brandon felt that all of this made him weaker; less then. Just as you would for me.” He knew he was talking too much, knew that he often overwhelmed his submissive with words so he took a deep breath and grounded himself in his physical connection with Brandon. He needed let Brandon just be and just take comfort in that physical connection.
Brandon sighed and dropped his head down onto Jamie’s lap, turning it to rest his cheek on Jamie’s leg. “I know. I know you love me. And I...” He swallowed. He could say it. It was just words. He could say the words. “I love you too. But I know it hurts you. And I get that... that you don’t mind, Sir. You don’t care if it hurts you because you love me more than it hurts. But I see it wear on you sometimes. The times when I can’t handle all of it, the times I pull back. I know it’s hard for you. Just because you don’t want me to see it doesn’t mean I don’t!” His voice rose a little, in tone if not volume, his frustration bleeding into it. He cut himself off, sitting up and pulling away from Jamie a little. He didn’t go far, he was still touching the Dominant, but he lifted his head up, shaking it. “I’m sorry, Sir, I didn’t mean to snap at you.”
