I just need to pop in and give you flowers for your portrayal of mcs father and mother, they both are very compelling and healing as parents who try despite not having much guidance, for example when your mom apologizes to you during that nightmare scene I was like : O or how your father gets all happy when you want more physical affection from him like the bar is in hell but its nice to see!

They had been waiting at this station for a little over two weeks. Ash was getting increasingly agitated, patients never really been his strong suit. Especially now that he was so close to returning to what was familiar to him.

He had the time to get fully tapped into the Vox network of the station, he really just wanted to listen for when his ship approached. He was also sure either Grier or his son would reach out to him as soon as they were close enough to the station. All he felt was relief as word reached him. He turned and shot a grin towards Alaric, sure the Astartes had heard as well. "Sounds like our ride is here."

Bringing Alaric with him was certainly going to be interesting. Both how the Nightlord reacted to his ship and crew, and vice versa would be entertaining, especially Grier's. He couldn't help but snort a little at the thought.
