The scent of the demon hit her a second before the door opened and Rhea looked over, quirking a brow but a smile tugging onto her lips as she saw her. Riley had been her friend for years after all, so she definitely didn’t mind seeing her there.
“You say that like you’re not friends with a bar owner.” Rhea piped up, clearly amused at the back and forth (and admittedly a little jealous since it was rare she got the teasing side of Sean. It was always hot or cold when it came to them two). It was practically unconscious too, the way she leaned more into Sean’s side, wanting to be closer to her Sire for a moment before she forced herself to take a step away from him and a step closer to Riley, nodding towards the the empty glasses, “If we’re gonna be here all night, can I at least get some drinks for us too?”
Sean knew Riley was waiting for them, but that didn’t make him walk any faster, he liked making her wait, even if that cost him his whiskey, Riley wasn’t exactly patient, and he liked to test that sometimes, besides he was enjoying his time alone with Rhea placing his hand on her back as he guided her to his place, as to show everyone she was his and no one was to dare to even speak with them.
“If I put you in my will, you would kill me, besides I don’t have one, I plan to spend everything I have and leave nothing to no one.” That was a lie, Sean was very good with money, he had a huge savings account and all of his turns were on his will, but he wasn’t going to tell Rhea that, even if she was uncapable of killing him.
“That’s why you’re my favorite.” Sean said to Rhea when she offered to do drinks, mostly because he was sure they would think it was just him teasing Riley and not that he actually meant those words.
Riley hushed Rhea. “I don’t want to drink you out of business, babe. Let daddy handle all the bills,” she responded, giving Sean a pointed look. Where was his gentlemanly manners? It wasn’t like he had anything else to waste his massive mounds of money on. Before Rhea could get the drinks, Riley got up and held out her hand to stop her. “Don’t be a bartender tonight, I’ll handle it.” She headed over to the drinks and poured them both a glass.
As she handed Rhea’s glass to her, she cupped the woman’s cheek, meeting her eyes. “Before we start anything, babygirl, are you sure you want to be here? I can feed off of a simple kiss,” she reassured. She didn’t want to pressure her friend into anything and while she had a feeling Rhea wouldn’t mind sleeping with her, knowing Sean, he could have pissed her off recently and Rhea could not want anything to do with him. While Rhea had no say, Riley certainly did before the sex started.
