assuming that jack has practices at the Dunkinâ Donuts Center, jackâs workplace is a 10-minute walk from the Waterplace Park Basin, where thereâs a very well-known ~twice-monthly event called WaterFire.
when itâs dark out, providenceâs rivers get lit up with dozens of bonfires, and people go out to walk along the banks, listen to music and watch performers who float down the river in gondolas.
now thatâs a date.

my real human life friend @fangirltothecore periodically sends me screenshots of fic characters âreserving seatsâ, calling it âfirewaterâ, putting boats in the Providence River, setting floating crates ablaze, and sending little lanterns up into the sky.
