It had been a normal day like any other. Going around from place tonplace, meeting up with fellow buds in the league, and just generally doing his own thing. And as Candyman had been conversing with another person, he happened to catch a familiar voice.
That said, it seemed familiar because it sounded exactly like him. With one swift turnaround he quickly realized who was approaching him. It was.. him. But also not exactly. A few seconds of confusion clouding the mutant’s head before suddenly remembering that he indeed met this double before!
“ Oh my god- it’s you!! ” Candy excitedly blurting out. Grinning the biggest, dorky smile you could imagine.
“It’s me!!” Candyman had spun and done a little pose, looking ecstatic to see his double. Oh- wait, were they talking to someone? “Haha! Sorry to intrude, I’ve been actually looking for ya! I wasn’r sure if ya were still in the city or not!” He certainly hadn’t fought them at all and more than that- Candyman was mostly MIA for a good while.
“How’s my best pal?? Put ‘er there!” He extends his hand out for the other, eyes as bouncy and googly with each mouth movement as always.
Instead of giving his double a hand, Candy actually went in for a pat on the back! I guess personal space was still a trait he had to work on... But!!!! That’s not important right now!!! “ How have you been?? It’s been so long since i’ve last seen you! “ It really has been quite a decade, hasn’t it? But that’s the fun part of reconnecting! Who knows what kind of untold stories the other has in store? Or how thier life has been since they last met? So many possibilities!!
