I know that what Usa and israel are doing to Palestine is wrong. But have you ever known that the region was firstly inhabited by Jews, Arabs came much later and took over.
And the Bible and quran have referred to Israel many times.
JUST A FACT FILE
it's true that both the quran and the bible acknowledge that the children of israel had a historical presence in that land, and im well-informed on that. jews have an ancient connection to it, and that's not something most historians dispute. but that's only part of the history. the land wasn't inhabited by only one people. over thousands of years, it was home to the canaanites, israelites, philistines, assyrians, babylonians, persians, greeks, romans, byzantines, arabs, crusaders, mamluks, and ottomans. modern palestinians largely descend from the people who remained in the region through many of those periods, while modern jews also have deep ancestral ties to the land.
both the quran and the bible speak about the children of israel with both praise and criticism, not as one-sided portrayals.
in the quran, allah swt says, "and we conveyed to the children of israel in the scripture, 'you will surely cause corruption in the land twice, and you will surely reach a great height of arrogance.'" (surah al isra 17:4). later, allah says, "it may be that your lord will have mercy upon you. but if you return, we will return." (17:8). at the same time, the quran also says, "they are not all alike. among the people of the scripture is a community standing in obedience, reciting the verses of allah during the night and prostrating in prayer." (surah ali imran 3:113).
the bible likewise says that god promised the land to the descendants of abraham: "to your offspring i will give this land." (genesis 12:7). however, it also warns that if they disobey god, they will be punished: "the lord will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other." (deuteronomy 28:64). at the same time, it also says, "if you fully obey the lord your god and carefully follow all his commands... the lord your god will set you high above all the nations of the earth." (deuteronomy 28:1).
having the earliest recorded historical or religious connection to a land doesn't automatically give a modern state the right to displace, occupy, or harm civilians. history is complex, and both jews and palestinians have legitimate historical ties to the land. that is why the focus today should be on justice, human rights, and protecting innocent lives, not on using ancient history to justify present day suffering.
+ many jewish people, including some orthodox jewish groups, argue that according to their own scriptures, the jewish people were not meant to establish sovereignty over the land by force before the coming of the messiah. they point to passages such as song of songs 2:7, 3:5, and 8:4, which the talmud interprets through the "three oaths," including the idea that israel should not forcefully reclaim the land or rebel against the nations before the messiah comes.
at the same time, the torah repeatedly commands justice and compassion. leviticus 19:18 says, "love your neighbor as yourself." exodus 22:21 says, "you shall not wrong or oppress a stranger, for you were strangers in the land of egypt." deuteronomy 10:19 says, "love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of egypt."
