As much as I'm hyped for Flesh and Wire, if they actually make canon that P1 was possessed by a demon, I'm gonna be so mad.
Postal 1997 was my favorite game because the horror aspect was that it was just a man that had been pushed to the limit and went on a huge rampage. The only real serious game of the franchise (I don't count redux cuz redux feels more fun with the new direction, music and everything. It's not scary, it's more action based). A story about how even the most harmless people can become violent when they snap and how fucking terrifying that is.
If they make this story about "ooooh man possessed by demon kills ppl" (which is a story that has been told to hell and back) I'm genuinely gonna be so pissed.
Idc about the "Demon theory" as just a theory cuz it's valid but tbh I think it's predictable, boring and too cliche if it were to become canon.
Edit cuz yes: I like to believe the demon is a metaphor for mental illness!!!! I'm not against that. I just dislike the theory that there's an actual demon possessing him.
