some random rc opinions cause its 2am and i cant sleep:

• revealing that kingu was ultimately the reason why nikkal's problems (that affected her entire life) started - even if he didn't know/mean it - IN THE LAST SEASON was a very low blow. like after all this time you're telling me my man had been using her since she was a child and ended up being the reason why she became an orphan?? WHO APPROVED THAT—

• kazu is the best li on the entire app. period. idc if you have other favourites you can't find a single flaw on the dude. he set the bar too high no one's ever gonna come close everything about him makes me wanna SCREAM i honestly can't believe he was written by a MAN

• theodora is top 3 best books. the characters, the stories, the feelings??? unmatched. i felt so many emotions reading it i actually sobbed through a third of it. it's not in my top 3 favourite books but it's undeniable its one of the best written (i would go as far as to say theodora and lotw share the throne)

• s1 of heaven's secret 2 is the worst. i'm sorry but it was such a challenge to get through it i can't even- it's not badly written, that's not what i'm saying, it's just SO MISERABLE, every single character is miserable !!and i know that's the point!! but ughhhhhh

• vying for versailles has the best mc idc what anyone says or thinks SHE'S THE HBIC!!!! no one's doing it like her truly an icon

• dals has one of the best/most compelling stories. the ottoman storyline is extremely heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time cause you know from the beginning its ending in tragedy. striking a deal to protect your loved ones only to see it ultimately fail and you're forced to live through 600 years of agony until they reincarnate and you get a second chance with them?? just inject it on my veins. now now i do think they're dragging it a little too much and it's now a bit boring but oh well

• i'm lowkey tired of the mc always being "inferior" to others, they're either inexperienced, poor, powerless, caged etc while the other characters are the opposite so the mc always depends on them in some way

• a book is only as good as its lis. there, said it. idc if you're writing the best piece of literature of the century if the lis are boring i will not be that interested oop and if its a shitty cheap book but with the loml in there you can bet i'll be even replaying that shit

• psi is like a gold mine. the beginning is bo-ring but once you get past like half of s1 you'll be simply amazed by how good the book is and once you get to s2 it's over for you like congratulations now you're hooked and there's no turning back welcome to the club!!!

"I don’t get Amen’s route. Where’s the love?? Where’s the angst??!! Where’s the passion????!! It would have been way more interesting if he fell for her mind and soul while having this internal struggle of whether to do his job or choosing her. But instead, all we get are him fantasizing about killing her, getting boners and lusting after her body. Their route had so much potential but it’s just not compelling :( Eva deserves real love and care."

I'm going to open my mouth here, where maybe I should've kept it shut. But let's go...

Waiting sensitivity from a brute sounds delusional IMO.

But I think author is building character development there. They showed us someone ruthless, cruel and obstinated. Hoping for Amen to reconnect to his feelings out of the blue just because he got sight of MC is expecting sh** from the author.

They gave us a dude that had work ethics when needed, and even tho he felt attraction towards Evyths he fought to maintain his distance and just try to help her without wanting anythong from her.

And as IRL: first infatuation, then obsession, then feelings after some reflection time for brooding characters. Amen is no saint. I think the story's going great.

People are focusing so much on the violence and forgetting the whole context they've given us prior to it. I'm not really trying to say Amen is innocent here.

He isn't.

But he's conflicted by feeling what he feels for Evyths and his instincts screaming at him that she's a shesmu. He has his reasons to hate shesmu.

At least two times Eva got to ask what he wanted from her for helping her like he did, and he didn't ask for anything.

Part of his job is hunt, torture, get confessions and killing shesmu. Before the torture it literally says he didn't enjoy any of it, but it had to be done.

In a world where if he becomes soft, he becomes prey, that cruelty is to be expected from Amen.

Amen is grey. He's good with whom he deem deserving. But he's a brooding character, he's not on good terms with his feelings. He will deny having feelings for long before letting it go. The first crack in his resolve we saw is when he tried to console Evyths after the friend's death. Then recognizing Eva at the ibu drew the line for him that he couldn't and he shouldn't pursue her. It brought the conflict of his feelings to the surface. When denied of his feelings, what is left is primal: hate, lust, ...

Then we see Amen's subconsciously obsessively lusting for Eva because while awake he knows he can't. Add to it the fact that (only if you're pursuing his route) Eva goes to him trying to be together.

Or more precisely while he hates shesmu, he sees Eva as innocent and she shouldn't think that life brings no consequences. That's why he needs that she watch what could/will happen to a shesmu when caught. He's in hopes that she leave that kind of life or distance herself from him. Because deep down he knows he's too obsessed to be able to let her go.

To this season's arch I believe we'll have Eva really trying to leave Amen while trying to scape her mentor's treachery. The author may develop the characters a bit more, either bringing them together or having redemption or justification for the things that happened how they did.

I don't thing Amen's route is going to be as smooth as Dracula's on the other book.

And just to finish this: how many of you guy were really loving the friendship with Dia? The girl caused problema all the time. It wasn't fun. if I had the option I'd turn her in myself, she was annoying. Like that Kiddo character from Psi(I don't like her, but that's on me).

I feel kinda not that smart. There's a button on our page on Moments where we find every. Single. Card. There. Is. On. Moments. App.

So ILLREN is from

Detroit Underworld: Psychic.

Out of the 20 chapters (from 30) I've already played so far... No sight of the character.

But we saw:

Troll (why did you have to blink right at that moment, Terrance?

And whatever Nick Gorgeous is....

Yest. The cards move and talk, level up and boost some things in the game.

The sad part:

I found a community on Facebook and since the app haven't been updated in the last 2 years and the stories didn't have anything new for quite some time, we were speculating that Stardust Works is no more. The company from the App on Apple Store changed, as if the app was purchased by some other company and this company doesn't have any plans to it, so they are just gonna let it die.

No responses to the fan base on their e-mails and social media.

Speaking of Social Media.... Moments twitter-X account has been dead in the last 2 years.

The community group I mentioned also contacted some authors from the stories of the aforementioned app. The response in general was a big "I don't know."

Word is this company purchased Stardust Works and offered new contracts to the authors that paid less and some left the platform. In the end no one knows what's going to happen in the future to Moments.

I really cherished this app. Now I'm sad and just playing to my heart's content until it's over... While I still hope it's back on it's tracks in the future.

I really, really hope this doesn't become a Storyscape all over again.

When I started playing Romance Club' Dracula's Love Story and Noe Lokid appeared I got the weird feeling his face was the fusion of Hasan's and Mehmed's.

That was so unsettling that I couldn't shake the feeling of distrust crawling inside my head.

Not many people talk about Moments: Choose Your Story.

It started more than 5 years ago, with small, sweet stories. Some awkward drawing style... That migrated to a more realistic style almost photographic style for art.

As they released tons of stories, the characters would be reused on other stories as extras and side characters. It might sound lazy to some people. I think it's funny as you have a photographic MC and then, their mother is drawer and painted in the old style.

They started giving us stars to play, and charging Rosy Diamonds for premium choices.

The stories became more s*x driven. But some stories got set aside. And we're left with no sequel or a proper closure. Like The Flower and Thorns one. I really loved playing it years ago. At that time, I was still able to buy diamonds on Google. Now it's not allowed in Brazil anymore. They never gave me an answer why they left Brazil. What made me stop playing the game, since I couldn't farm enough diamonds to play things properly. Even though I know the choices doesn't matter that much. It's like:

"annoying character is calling you. Pay 12 diamonds to answer it. OR don't answer it for free"

You choose the free option, just to read the next panel telling you someone picked your cellphone for you, answered it an made you talk to whoever was on the other side of the call.

A couple months ago I restarted playing it.

Here's my question: what story is ILLREN from???

Seriously we make the worst fandom ever. There's no Wikia on the stories, there's no images about the stories. Even Stardust Works' social media is kinda dead. Last post is like from 2 years ago.

I even started a Google Sheet listing all the 271 books they have inside the Moments App. (9 are openly LGBTQIAP+, the others are probably a side LI, if any)

It's a lot. I may have started and / or ended around 30 books.

I need your help guys! Does anyone knows about ILLREN?
