Lets turn back the hands of time a little….think about the time when u were in 5th grade and science was recently introduced in your curriculum. You were amazed to know that everything was made of atoms!! That small really?? What particularly astounded me was the beauty of stars and the limitless universe. I loved the cosmos. When anybody would ask me what was my aim in life, I used to tell them that I wanted to be an astronaut. I wondered how the earth would look from the moon. Basically I wanted to jump in vacuum wearing that heavy space suit. That was my dream! As I say, yes it WAS my dream.
As time passed my aim became a very distant dream. I learnt or rather accepted that nah its not my cup of tea! I’d rather become a doctor or an engineer, atleast it would fetch me money to survive through life! And that moment boom! My dream of becoming an astronaut turned into mere hobby of reading bout the cosmos.
Lets come back into the present people.
I’m trying to make a point here.
The sad fact that I’m trying to tell you people is that as we get older our ambitions seem to shrink. When you were little, what did you want to become? A photographer, a ballerina, an explorer, an actor? Today as you sit on the bus going to work or soak in the bath after a long day, what sort of fantasy future are you indulging in? Is it a passionate relationship, financial freedom, running your own business? How does this contrast with what you have? For all too many of us our dreams start to disappear as we come under pressure to be ‘realistic’. Our goals end up getting smaller and smaller as a result – limited by what others have led us to believe that we can achieve – usually due to their own disappointments. But there’s no need to abandon our dreams. By tapping into your resources you can reconnect to them and guide yourself to a vibrant and amazing future.
So my dear friends why compromise at all?
Never, ever stop dreaming. Dream big!!
If people aren’t laughing at your dreams, your dreams aren’t big enough. The age of average is over. Rise above it coz u already have it, there is nothing to lose. Follow your dreams but don’t be afraid to fail because my sister told me once, aim for the moon in the sky, coz even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.
2.Change your attitude towards life
May be this picture explains it well to you.
When opportunity knocks at your door, use it well.
3. You know those things you always wanted to do? Do them.
Ponder upon what you always desired to do. Make a list. If not all, you can try to fulfil atleast one of them.
4.Don’t forego your dreams under the pressure of being realistic.
Don’t let small minds convince you that your dreams are too big. No dream is unrealistic. You need to have the killer instinct and the determination in you. You can certainly have what you desire.
When you connect to your inner self, you will realise what you actually wish for. When to strive towards your goals with passion you will obviously achieve it. There is no denying that. Think about the possibilities. You may achieve more than you wished for. Think about the inner happiness it will give you.
Everybody wants to be successful and happy. They want to enjoy their work. People want others to envy their position. They want to live life king size. You are never too young to dream big.
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
