SD Gundam Gaiden NEO: The Forbidden Magic - The Cursed Gund-Graph Notes
The original write up of the story for this arc is by earthofhomozu on Instagram. I just translated them and adapted it into English. The card artwork also comes from their posts.
Complete Card Art in High Quality can be found here.
The previous arc is over here, so read that before reading this.
This summary will be long so I'm putting it under a cut.
The Benerit Nation, a powerful country headed by the Benerit Clan once saw the Dragon Village in a certain forest as dangerous, destroyed it, expanded its state in the "WilderLance", and reigned supreme, was about to destroy the forest where the surviving children of the Dragon Village lived.
However, the Benerit Clan was not prepared for the appearance of Magic Knight Gundam Aerial, a wandering drifter and wielder of the magic sword Escutcheon, who would not tolerate any of their savagery!
Aerial was a member of the Gundam Clan like Knight Gundam Lfrith, the hero who once fell with the Dragon Village and stood up together with Mage Suletta, a fairy who lived in the forest, to protect the people of the Dragon Village.
The three families of the Benerit Nation vied for the credit and were defeated by Aerial. Noble knight Gundam Pharact, who was secretly implanted with a Gund Gem, was transformed into Monster Pharact Dragon due to an outburst of magical power!
Aerial defeated Pharact Dragon with the help of the spirits summoned by the mysterious Summoner Prospera. However, the survivors of the dragon village in the forest became known to the Benerit Clan…. And two “Magic Knight” Gundams, who did not belong anywhere, were also aiming for the forest.
Aerial was a traveling knight, but after interacting with the children of the forest, where the survivors of the dragon village lived, they decided to repay them by fighting the Benerit Clan again to protect them and the forest.
The Gund Gem on Aerial's forehead can produce magic power attributed to the spirits which it has contracted with, and if it contracts with a stronger spirit, the magic power it produces will reach the realm of the mystical! But why did a traveler like Aerial have a Gund Gem, the treasure from the Dragon Village?
Aerial is able to use a new magic sword through a contract with Dryad Echo, a spirit of the forest, and Ore Gnome, a spirit of earth, which were both summoned by Prospera, a summoner who exceled in magic power. Despite this, she was still surrounded by many mysteries.
Aerial's Magic Sword Escutcheon was now stronger, but the additional contracts consumed more magic power. The problem was that the consumption can be reduced with Gund Gems. Because of its power, the Benerit Clan desired the Gund Gem even though they considered it dangerous.
Aerial had renewed their determination, but there was one problem. The noble knight they defeated in the previous chapter had been following them around, begging to become their apprentice.
In the previous chapter, Noble Knight Darilbalde aka Noble Knight Dilanza and his partner, Noble Knight Guel, were reported missing by the Benerit Clan's main army after being defeated by Magic Knight Gundam Aerial.
However, after being defeated by Aerial and marveling at their strength and swordsmanship, Darilbalde became so enamored with magic that he betrayed the Benerit Clan and volunteered to become Aerial's apprentice!
He was so determined that even Aerial was overcome by his insistence. However, since he did not have a Gund Gem, he asked Nika, the blacksmith, to make him a magic sword.
Darilbalde's magic sword had the ability to fly and strengthen its power, but unlike Aerial's Magic Sword Escutcheon, it did not contain the power of a spirit. Furthermore, training was essential to control it by imbuing it with magical power through alchemical magic.
Darilbalde learned basic alchemy magic from Aerial and through daily practice, he grew to be able to control the three prototype magic swords. In order to repay the children of the village for their kindness, he reformed himself, changed his name, and became an official member of the Aerial's group in order to protect the village!
Mage Suletta, who lived in the forest and was entrusted by Summoner Prospera to protect Priestess Miorine, had renewed her determination to stand up to the Benerit Clan. She was a hard worker who was not as good as Aerial, but was still an excellent mage.
Since she and Aerial fought the Benerit tribe with great bravery in the previous chapter, she was officially recognized as the escort of Priestess Miorine, and Miorine gave her clothes containing the power of her prayers, giving her a makeover.
This clothing also allowed her to speak with the enigmatic Spirit Erichts that Summoner Prospera has contracted with. Also, like Darilbalde, she continued to train in magic with Aerial in order to become more powerful.
Meanwhile, the Benerit clan's three families were competing for the Gund Gem, and the balance of power within the clan was on the verge of collapse!
Knight Aerial, Knight Darilbalde, and Mage Suletta's combined efforts to train and protect the children of the village have made Miorine more aware of her role as a priestess of the village.
As a priestess, she has become the representative of the village, and while protecting the village, she has become active in giving permission to those who have reformed and seek to join the village, such as Darilbalde, and in instructing them to develop equipment and prepare for battle in order to improve the defenses for the protection of the village.
Also, as before, she would continue to take care of the fields, especially the tomatoes. She has been busy taking care of and interacting with the “Priestess Dragon,” which she had kept hidden from everyone in the village in previous chapters.
The dragon child communicated only with Miorine, and was so much more of a secret to Miorine than the Gund Gem. What was the true identity of the child dragon?
And besides Miorine, the only other people who know of the existence of the dragon are Summoner Prospera and, surprisingly, Shaddiq of the Grassley family!
Meanwhile, one of the defenders of the village, Hunter Chuchu, struggled to keep up with the others!
Equipped with newly created armor by blacksmith Nika, she has grown so much through training with her mentor, Warrior Demi Trainer, that she is a match for an ordinary MS Clan member.
She has also learned to make calm judgments by borrowing Warrior Demi Trainer's beloved dog and following him when necessary, while still maintaining her passionate spirit and growing as a hunter.
The relationship between the three families within the Benerit Clan has worsened, and they are not strong enough to invade the village of dragons again, even though the villagers are not ready to fight.
Noble Knight Guel, who managed to survive his defeat by Aerial in the previous chapter, was surprised by Darilbalde's reformation and Aerial's strength, and he himself had infiltrated the Dragon Village under the name “Bob” by disguising his identity.
At first, he was surprised by the strength of the Aerial's magic and intended to learn their secret, but as he lived in the village, he changed his mind.
The wonderful alchemical magic he saw in the village, which was used for protection, and the atmosphere of kindness among the village people he met in the cafeteria, regardless of their status, made him wonder why the Benerit Clan was trying to destroy the village.
The children of the village were also preparing for the Benerit Clan to attack again.
Soon, the Benerit Clan had once again begun their invasion of the Dragon Village. However, the competition among the three families for the Gund Gems was surely leading the Benelit tribe to an internal collapse.
While Noble Knight Guel (Bob) was questioning the invasion of the Dragon Village, the next head of the Peil family, Noble Knight Elan, was discouraged by the way his family was doing things.
This was because Noble Knight Gundam Pharact, which should have been defeated by Magic Knight Aerial in the previous chapter after becoming a monster due to an incomplete Gund Gem causing him to go berserk, appeared before Elan!
In fact, this Pharact was a refined individual and duplicate of the original Pharact that the Peil family had created by studying the magical technology of the Dragon's Village! His appearance under his cloak was shrouded in mystery.
The unexpected reunion with Pharact made Noble Knight Elan disappointed with the Peil family's way of doing things. He also remembered Mage Suletta, who he had met in the previous chapter.
Elan and Guel are troubled. However, Shaddiq's ambition is only getting stronger..!
Warrior Demi Trainer is one of the few adults in the village who not only served as a mentor to Hunter Chuchu but also trained her in preparation for the next invasion of the Benelit Clan into the Dragon Village!
He foresaw a rematch with Noble Knight Michaelis, whom he confronted in the previous chapter, and was training himself for battle, like Aerial's group, in order to defeat him.
Recently, Nika had been asked by Darilbalde to help him, and the hardworking blacksmith made a prototype of a magic sword that did not require spirits or strong magic power with her advanced smithing and refining skills, based on the technology of Aerial's magic sword.
Blacksmith Till, who works with Nika, was a taciturn child who demonstrated his dexterity through his work. Even though he was a blacksmith, he was also in charge of cooking in the cafeteria and does this by doing things such as preparing fish. Perhaps because of his skill with blades, he was in charge of finishing Nika's magic sword.
Still other children of the dragon village were each preparing for the return of the Benerit Clan!
As the Benerit Clan's army was about to invade the Dragon Village once again, the people of the village were also on the move.
Two people run a tool shop in the village, Toolmaker Cecelia and Toolmaker Rouji. They seemed to be struggling with their inventory of various tools they had received so far, so they generously provided assistance to Aerial against the attack of the Benerit Clan.
On the other hand, Toolkeeper Rouji was familiar with the history of the old dragon village that was once destroyed because he kept the records of the previous dragon village, but he does not seem to know why the traveler Aerial was equipped with a Gund Gem.
Hunter Felsi,” a hunter like Hunter Chuchu, was preparing for a new attack from the Benerit Clan and was ready to fight. Accompanying Felsiin the forest is Petra, the pharmacist.
Petra was able to gather and use usable medicinal herbs, and was personable and kind to the newly reformed Darilbalde and the mysterious Bob (Guel). She supports her new village friends.
The Benerit Clan had once again started to move their forces to attack the dragon village, but the deteriorating relationship between the three families has become even more muddled, and their positions were falling apart.
However, neither of them knew that a mysterious army, neither from the Benerit clan nor from the Dragon Village, would appear…!
The Benerit clan, who viewed the Gund Gems as dangerous and wanted its power, marched into the Dragon Village with a force led by Headman Vim, the martial leader of the Jeturk family.
However, the balance of power among the three families was no longer in balance within the Benerit clan, and the real leader of the Benerit Clan was Noble Knight Michaelis of the Grassley family. The Grassley family supported Shaddiq with Michaelis and Soldier Beguir-Pente at the helm.
Noble Knight Michaelis and Warrior Demi Trainer clash because of their history from the previous chapter, but Michaelis' mission was actually a diversion, and he was fighting on the front lines for Shaddiq's plan to investigate the legends of WilderLance.
Aerial and co were fighting without knowing it was a diversion, but with the magic and power that each of them had accumulated through their training, the Benerit Clan was no longer an enemy.
Just when it looked as if Aerial and other villagers would be victorious, two Gundam Clan members appeared! They were Magic Knights like Aerial.
One of the knights, Magic Knight Gundam Lfrith Ur, attacked first. It seemed that they are aiming at Aerial, but to everyone's surprise, he had a Gund Gem on his forehead!
This Gund Gem was not a concoction of the Peil family, but a genuine Gund Gem. Furthermore, while the Gund-Graph that caused Pharact to go out of control in the previous chapter appeared, it attacked him without any relation at all!
Ur's “I'll make you into my family” also utilized the power of the Gund-Graph by the addition of a Gund Gem that contained “malicious intent”.
At this time, neither the children of the Dragon Village nor Aerial were aware of the fact that Ur's Gund Gem was the very same one used by Swordsman Gundam Lfrith Junior, who had once protected the previous Dragon Village!
During the clash between Aerial and the other children of the Dragon Village and the Benerit Clan, Magic Knight Gundam Lfrith Thorn, one of the two Gundams equipped with Gund Gems and a Magic Knight like Aerial, suddenly appeared!
While he excels at speed combat, utilizing his quickness instead of the power-oriented fighting of his partner, Magic Knight Gundam Lfrith Ur, he also had a twisted side that likes to destroy things.
His Gund Gem is the very Gund Gem of the former Swordsman Gundam Lfrith Junior, and it was a mystery why they possessed it.
The Gundam Gem contained Lfrith Junior's regret, and therefore, a destructive impulse is given alongside power to those who become its dependents. However, surprisingly for Lfrith Junior, it also harbored the “malice” that he possessed.
Noble Knight Michaelis was defeated by the two Magic Knights who suddenly entered the battle, and the Benerit Clan, which was also on the verge of internal collapse, was defeated. The two Knights used the power of the Gund Gem to create a private army that turned on Aerial and other village children!
Magic Knight Gundam Lfrith Ur and Magic Knight Gundam Lfrith Thorn, who suddenly entered the battle, did not belong to either the Dragon Village or the Benerit Clan, but they had a strong grudge against both of them!
The two brought with them Armor Gundvölva, Desultor Doll, and Stone Prodoros, doll-shaped monsters created by the power of the Gund Gems.
Although these monsters were possessed with the malicious power of the two, they were defeated one after another by Aerial's group, which had grown stronger through their previous training.
However, Ur and Thorn drew more power from the Gund Gem than Aerial, and as expected, the group struggled.
Ur and Thorn controlled a Gund-Graph, which was created when the Gund Gem goes out of control. They fused with the monsters of their army, transforming into a gigantic synthetic magical beast, the Monster Chimera Ur Thorn.
Unlike Pharact in the previous chapter, Ur and Thorn retained their sanity and were powered by the Gund-Graph emitted from their Gund Gems that were full of “malice”. They marched forward, trampling the surviving Benerit Clan in the front line!
Furthermore, the Chimera was also overwhelmingly durable, as even if it receives some wounds, it could reconstitute itself by taking in further monsters and fusing them together.
Outnumbered, Aerial asked Summoner Prospera to summon something and was prepared to put their life on the line for “a decisive action”! There was no way they could win without further borrowing the power of the spirits!
Aerial released new storm and thunder magic power through a contract with Spirit Cloudbuster, the storm spirit summoned by Prospera, and Spirit Judgithor, the lightning spirit! Aerial's magic sword with all its might finally shattered the Gund Gem of Chimera Ur Thorn, and defeated Ur and Thorn!
However, the damage from the battle with Ur and Thorn, as well as the recoil of energy from the magical sword Escutcheon, which contained powerful magic energy from four different spirits, injured Aerial severely to the point that their armor shattered.
While Priestess Miorine was concentrating on healing Aerial with recovery magic, it was revealed that Shaddiq was secretly hiding for this chance!
During this, Noble Knight Shaddiq captured Miorine's dragon baby, and together with Noble Knight Michaelis, who had been standing by, outwitted the head of the family, Vim, under the pretense of being defeated!
Shaddiq had independently researched the lore of WilderLance and had his sights set on the dragon. In order to outwit the entire Benerit Clan and monopolize the village's secrets, he took advantage of this opportunity and went to the “land of lore” to learn more of the dragon's secrets after obtaining the village's dragon child.
On the other hand, Ur and Thorn were actually the mages Sophie and Norea from the old village records. They were interested in the Dragon Village and were acquainted with the elders of the village at that time.
However, in the previous fall of the village, they were separated from the escapees and nearly died. During this time, a “terrible malice” whispered to them to resent those who attacked and abandoned them (this was a misunderstanding), causing them to have a deep hatred for both sides.
And from the shattered Gund Gem of Ur and Thorn… a shadow of the “malice” that planted a seed of resentment in Sophie and Norea appeared……
The mysterious spirit Spirit Ericht with various elements was used by Summoner Prospera. In the previous chapter, Ericht with fire and water elements had appeared, and they continued to appear in this chapter.
Prospera summoned spirits with powerful elements through the Erichts, but is it possible to contract so much that even Aerial would destroy themselves? The mage Suletta can also speak with them, but she does not understand their true intentions.
Prospera was a mystery, but she hated the Benerit Clan, so she joined the group. However, the new village was destroyed by Ur and Thorn. After healing Aerial, Priestess Miorine rose to her feet.
Before searching for a new safe haven, she followed Shaddiq and his subordinates to save the dragon child, the source of the village's power!
How will Aerial be revived? And what does Prospera think as the three families become completely independent and the internal collapse of the Benerit Clan continues? And what is the identity of the shadow in the ruined village?
SD Gundam Gaiden NEO: The Forbidden Magic - The Dragon's Priestess Notes
The original write up of the story for this arc is by earthofhomozu on Instagram. I just translated them and adapted it into English.
Complete Card Art in High Quality can be found here.
As you can tell, the design basis for this series is the series Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. It also happened to be released at the 35th anniversary of SD Gundam Gaiden so you do you.
It'll be long so I'm putting it under a cut.
The curtain rises in a world completely different from the Saddrac world, Llion Cardzi, and Celestar. There existed a land called “The WilderLance” (Lance of Wilderness) in an era of rivalry among various forces building their countries.
In one part of the land was the Dragon Village. It was said to hold the power of the Dragon God, which was said to have the magical power and be able to grant further power by embedding a crystal of magical power called “Gund Gem” into armor. Because of this, it was targeted!
Knight Gundam Lfrith of the Gundam Clan was the defender of the Dragon Village. He has a Gund Gem in his armor to improve his basic physical abilities. He was also a kind-hearted person and well-liked by the people of the village.
However, a powerful group of nations declared the Dragon Village to be a den of evil and attempted to bring it into serious danger!
In the WilderLance, the rival clans of the MS and Human Clans merged to form the Benerit Clan. They claimed that the Gund Gem, which held the power of the Dragon God, was overly dangerous and dispatched a large army of extermination squads to the Dragon Village.
The adults of the village decided that even someone as strong as Knight Gundam Lfrith would be overwhelmed by their numbers and decided to act as bait, leaving the rebuilding of the dragon village to their children in the future.
Warrior Nadim was a first-rate Gund Gem craftsman who incorporated the Gund Gem into Lfrith's armor. He and Lfrith were good friends and decided to act as decoys together.
Then there was Summoner Elnora, Nadim's wife, who led the escape from the village with her own children and the children of the village. She was an excellent summoner, but during the escape, she injured her face. And later…
With the remaining forces as decoys, the adults were prepared to hold off the Benerit Clan's strike force no matter how wounded their bodies would become.
Elder Cardo, who was the leader of the Dragon Village, also acted as bait for the Benerit Clan to ensure that the children of the village escaped.
With their morale boosted by Elder Cardo's leadership, Knight Gundam Lfrith and the adults of the village bravely confronted the Benerit Clan.
Like his father Lfrith, Swordsman Gundam Lfrith Junior wore armor that incorporated a Gund Gem. Although still a swordsman, he fought bravely for the future of the Dragon Village, but he is lost in the battle.
The Benerit Clan struggled against the defenders (decoys) in the Dragon Village thanks to Elder Cardo's commands, but a cool-headed knight is after Lfrith!
The morale of the garrison of the Dragon Village, which were fighting alongside Knight Gundam Lfrith as a decoy, was high, and Soldier Heingra, a member of the Benerit Clan's extermination squad, was also struggling.
In this situation, Knight Beguir-Beu, a direct subordinate of Chief Delling, the head of the Benerit Clan and commander of the extermination unit, decided that the garrison would collapse if Knight Gundam Lfrith was defeated!
For some reason, he had been targeting Knight Gundam Lfrith, who was boosted by the Gund Gem, and was such a powerful foe that there are whispers that he was equally capable. Although he had been quietly watching, he appeared on the front line as a result of the extermination team's hard fight.
Knight Beguir-Beu, who has a habit of lowering the visor of his helmet and showing his full strength when he perceived a strong enemy, judged Knight Gundam Lfrith to be a strong enemy and challenges him to a fight!
Knight Beguir-Beu was convinced that if he could defeat Lfrith, he could easily destroy the garrison. However, Beguir-Beu underestimated his strength, and a fierce battle ensued between the two.
As a result, Knight Beguir-Beu was defeated and felled, but Lfrith was also defeated, and with the loss of Lfrith, all the adults in the village garrison were wiped out. The village was burned to the ground by the Benerit Clan.
However, the decoys were successful, and a few adults and many children escaped and built a new village in a different forest, where the story begins several years later.
-
Several years passed. The Benerit Nation, a huge city-state, expanded its power in the WilderLance. Even now, the Benerit Clan continued to develop and expand, with each family line rising to prominence and competing with the others.
On the other hand, the few adults and many children who had escaped from the Dragon Village, which was thought to have been destroyed, joined forces to develop a new Dragon Village and lived peacefully.
The village's young priestess, Priestess Miorine, was the “link between the dragon god and people". Despite her young age, she had the power to repel malevolent magic with her blessings, and a winning personality.
Surprisingly, she was also in charge of food production in the village, and grew beautiful tomatoes from the seedlings she brought back from the village that was destroyed.
However, her peaceful life was about to be destroyed by a scouting party from the Benerit Clan, who wanted to exterminate the survivors of the dragon village. At that moment, a vagabond with mysterious powers saved her!
Miorine's rescuer was Magic Knight Gundam Aerial, a vagabond and wielder of the “Magic Sword Escutcheon” who had been traveling throughout WilderLance!
This wandering knight had acquired extraordinary strength through training during their travels, and by making a contract with a spirit, the “Gund Glyph” emblems on their armor appear and the Magic Sword Gunbit Rondo (Gambit Rondo?) that holds the power of the Gund Gem is unleashed.
This strength was achieved without the Gund Gem. They were a mysterious wanderer who appeared to look somewhat similar to the late Knight Gundam Lfrith due to also being a member of the Gundam Clan. They seemed to be a good person who vowed to save the weak from selfish violence.
Thanks to Aerial's efforts, the Benerit Clan's scouting party was defeated and Priestess Miorine was safe. However, Aerial noticed that a small dragon of the Dragon God was hiding in Miorine's bosom.
It was at that point that a mysterious beast girl who was assigned to guard Miorine by “a certain someone” showed up.
Mage Suletta was a beastman skilled in magic who had not been living in the village since she escaped from the dragon village, but had been living in the surrounding forest for a long time. She was quite capable as a mage.
Suletta was entrusted by “a certain someone” to escort the priestess Miorine, and she rushed to join Aerial.
Perhaps because of her characteristics as a beastman, she is good at conversing with spirits, and as a mage, she is highly skilled in sensing magic and magic investigation, and she quickly became friends with Aerial.
In return for their help, Miorine decided to guide them to the forest village where they lived. Upon arriving, she introduces her hardy companions who live in the forest, a group of friends that now included Magic Knight Gundam Aerial and the Mage Suletta.
Hunter Chuchu boasted of her strength and was close to Miorine's age. She was a girl who remembered the despair she felt during her escape from the dragon village and has therefore chosen to become a hunter herself.
She usually hunted her prey and brought back the materials she obtained from the forest monsters she had killed to the blacksmith to have her own equipment made. She seemed to have developed a surprising fondness for Aerial.
Hunter Kenanji, also a hunter, was a former member of the extermination team of the Benerit Clan who was now part of the dragon village. Although he was a former member of the Benerit Clan, he was one of the few adults in the forest who is well-liked.
He was a good person who was welcomed as a member of the village after he abandoned his mission to eradicate the dragon village and helped the children escape, rebelling against the cruelty and pressure of the Benerit Clan. He has excellent hunter skills.
Everyone in this forest seemed to be friendly to Aerial. This is because they felt an aspect of the now deceased former hero Knight Gundam Lfrith within him.
Blacksmith Nika dealt with blacksmithing in the village. Because of her expertise in blacksmithing, she took on the creation and repair of tools for the hunters, as well as the creation of daily necessities. She also supported Chuchu and the other hunters.
Then there was Shopkeeper Martin, the leader of the village children. He is the owner of a blacksmith store and a diner. He was timid, but had a strong sense of responsibility as an elder and looked up to Kenanji, who was one of the few adults in the village.
Martin and Kenanji sometimes travelled to sell the village's products to the city and stock up on daily necessities. Nika sometimes accompanied them on these trips, but she was always wary of the Benerit Clan.
And today was the day of the return of a brave MS warrior, one of the few adults in the village.
It was Warrior Demi Trainer, who protected the village! He was a warrior who was entrusted by Knight Gundam Lfrith with the children during the attack on the dragon village, and escorted the escapees, despite being a garrison member.
However, he had a strong sense of territoriality from past attacks, and his quarrelsome personality had influenced Chuchu. He too was wary of Aerial at first.
His son, Hunter Demitrainer, is training to become a great hunter with Bound Puppy, a cub monster he picked up in the forest.
The warrior Demi Trainer was skeptical of Aerial, but since they and Lfrith were of the Gundam Clan, he accepted him for now and invited him to help hunt forest monsters.
The group was soon confronted by forest monsters!
The forest demon-type monster Bear Azrawan is a large bear-like monster, and is thought to be an evolved form of the monsters that also exist in the Saddrac World.
Next is the humanoid monster Orc Clibarri. It seems to be an evolved form of the humanoid monster in Saddrac, and is a more formidable monster.
Then there is the small monster Goblin Kapell-Kuu. This monster also seems to be an evolved form of the same monster in the Saddrac World. The existence of these monsters seems to be deeply related to the still-undisclosed relationship with the Saddrac World.
While the group was hunting monsters, the survivors of the earlier scouting party of the Benerit Clan made the main clan aware of the existence of a village in the forest!
For some reason, the existence of the survivors from the destroyed Village of the Dragon God, made Chief Delling feel threatened, and he ordered their extermination by the three families that were currently competing for the Benerit Clan.
The next head of one of the three families, the Jeturk family, Noble Knight Guel, led his own forces to outflank the other two families.
Although his youth made him a bit aggressive, rude, and rough, he also had the integrity to respect those who show their strength. Little did he know that this battle would change his destiny forever….
One of the other families, the Grassleys, who are fearless in their actions, was also on the move.
Shaddiq, the noble knight of the Grassley family, had high political power among the Benerit Clan. He was aiming for success while maintaining his composure, trying to counter the Jeturk family, which fought aggressively, with intelligence.
It was said that Shaddiq was a crafty noble knight, and that he had been playing some tricks within the city to gain means outside of combat.
But in this battle, Shaddiq did not expect his pride to be hurt by Aerial.
And the last of the three families was full of mysteries...
While the three families of the Benerit clan were plotting to exterminate the people of the forest, where the survivors of the Dragon Village live, the mysterious “Peil Family” had also begun to take action.
The next head of the Peil family, Noble Knight Elan, was a Noble Knight with magical powers unique to the Peil family. Unlike Guel and Shaddiq, he was aiming for the complete know-how of the Gund Gems possessed by the people of the forest rather than taking credit for their extermination.
In fact, the joint heads of the Peil family, a group of Sorcerers, had Gund Gems they had recovered in secret when they destroyed the Dragon Village, and had been conducting their own research in secret. They gave the imperfect results to “a certain Gundam Clan noble knight”.
In the midst of the dark activities of the Peil family, Elan, who was researching magic, became interested in Mage Suletta, whom he would meet in this battle.
The three families of the Benerit Clan would lead their respective forces into the forest. But now the people have a well-minded wanderer Magic Knight Gundam Aerial as their companion!
At last, the three major forces led by the three families of the Benerit Clan invaded the forest to destroy the survivors of the Dragon Village. It was the Jeturk family that first took the initiative!
The captain of the Jeturk army, Noble Knight Dilanza, was a knight with high combat power and a deep knowledge of not only strength but also tactics. He lightly regarded Aerial as a “bumpkin”….
Contrary to his captain, Warrior Dilanza was belligerent and prefers to act alone. He was a conspicuous figure in the Jeturk family. Soldier Demi Garrison, a common soldier of the Benerit Clan, was also a member of the Jeturk family and is aggressive in numbers. The Jeturk family's forces attack in numbers!
However, they underestimated the Magic Knight Gundam Aerial's magic sword and suffered a painful defeat.
The next army was that of the Grassley Family.
The commander of the army of the Grassley family was Noble Knight Michaelis. He is a schemer, and under the direction of Shaddiq, was secretly planning to use the power of Miorine's power as the priestess of the dragon god to his advantage.
Then there was Fencer Heindree, Michaelis's subordinate and a faithful swordsman. He had not been told of the priestess's power in the Dragon Village, and faithfully followed his instructions to subdue her.
The noble knight Michaelis was also quite a skilled swordsman, but he was no match for Aerial's magic sword and was narrowly defeated.
Two of the three families were defeated by Aerial one after another, but the Peil family was different. The leader of their army was also a member of the Gundam Clan, just like Aerial!
Mage Zowort, the mage of the Peil family, was led by the jet-black knight Noble Knight Pharact, who boasts of abilities that rival those of the magic knight!
A knight skilled in magical combat and armed with magical versatility, he stands as Aerial's most difficult enemy. This was because the Peil family had recovered the Gund Gem, a secret that was left behind at the time of the fall of the Dragon's Village, and had implanted it in Pharact.
In the fierce battle between Aerial and Pharact with magic, Aerial won by a narrow margin.
However, the Gund Gem inside the defeated Pharact began to run amok!
Pharact transformed into the dragon-shaped monster Pharact Dragon when the Gund Gem embedded in him went out of control! He has lost his sense of self due to the outburst of magical power.
The mysterious Gund Gem, which had been secretly recovered by the Peil family at the time of the collapse of the Dragon Village and studied independently, went out of control due to the “residual thoughts of anger” and “malice” within Pharact. He became a powerful enemy whose entire body has been transformed into a dragon of destruction.
Those who obtained powerful magical power from the Gund Gem had “Gund-Graphs” appear on their bodies, appearing like cracks all over their bodies.
It was then that a spirit summoned by “a certain person” saved Aerial, who was struggling against the overwhelming power of Pharact Dragon! This person summoned “Spirit Iceburn,” a spirit of water and ice, and “Spirit Geist,” a spirit of fire!
Aerial, using these high-level spirits and empowered by their opposite elements, finally defeated Pharact Dragon. The morale of the three families' troops was lowered, and the three families were defeated.
But who was the “someone” who summoned the spirits?
It was Summoner Prospera, who protected the self-proclaimed dragon god priestess. She lent her power to Magic Knight Gundam Aerial. It was under her direction that Mage Suletta was dispatched.
Prospera was an excellent summoner, and is able to summon more powerful spirits by offering her life force as well as her magical power.
Prospera seemed to be a survivor of the former Dragon Village, but she wore a mask because her face was injured during the escape. Currently, she boasted the greatest amount of magic in the current village due to the large number of inexperienced children.
Prospera was calm, but she seemed to hate the Benerit Clan intensely. Aerial was wary of her, even though she was a mystery, and they owed her a debt of gratitude.
Meanwhile, the three families have suffered a painful defeat at the hands of Aerial and the rest of the forest village, but now that the Benerit Clan's head, Chief Delling, has learned of the existence of the village, he has given the three families new instructions!
Summoner Prospera had saved Magic Knight Aerial by summoning spirits against the Pharact Dragon. However, summoning multiple spirits was an extremely difficult task.
Prospera's summoning was assisted by Spirit Erichts, which were mysterious child-like spirits. These spirits followed Prospera, but they had their own unique personalities and a childlike innocence.
Although the Spirit Erichts were mysterious spirits, Prospera was able to summon more than one through their power. But her goals were still unknown at this time. Aerial was also wary of her.
Meanwhile, the Peil family's secret independent research on the Gund Gem had been revealed, and the other families have begun to target the “Gund Gem” independently, while the Peil family has been standing on its own shoulders within the Benerit Clan. Finally, they had discovered the forest village where the survivors of the Dragon Village went to.
At that time, two knights with shining gems on their foreheads were about to appear. They were Magic Knights from the Gundam Clan just like Aerial!
