when my brain is functioning normally and grinding a bunch of thoughts into something "edible", then i like to come up with a bunch of my own theories on this topic. especially when it comes to cleaning. Randolph Carter is Nyarlathotep? why not? but i want to quickly get into the future time, where there is peace around and inside me, and I can just learn and enjoy

i mean... i like the Randolph Carter series. i have a particular fondness for the Kadath, but i enjoy of his line. it's not only interesting to read, biographical for understanding the personality of the author, but also gives a better idea of ​​the basics and rules of the world that Lovecraft created and what "rules of the game" exactly it has. in fact, from all the stories in parts, a huge, albeit not completed, we can forme mosaic. specifically in the Carter cycle, the emphasis is on the rules of the work of time, space and matter. not without psychology and images of the subconscious, of course

the concept of "personality" runs like a red line, if not through all, then through many stories. for me, one of the main horrors of Lovecraft is the loss of one's own identity, personality. and Randolph struggles to piece it together, just as you, dear reader, do too! even if you don't have mental problems (you don't?) so lucky!), picking yourself up is a common thing. our identity is the pieces that we collect throughout life

Lovecraft isn't just about horror. it's about philosophy, psychology, healing and a bit of peculiar humor. i myyy opinion (tm)

I can’t let today pass without commemorating the man who takes up half of my bookshelf. However flawed he may have been, Howard Phillips Lovecraft has mentored me in more ways than one. In the words of Sonia, I, too, will say: “May the God in whom he so little believed, rest his soul in peace.”
