Whether it was at home or going out. “I don’t need to change or anything do I?” A soft laugh escaped her as he nudged her. “I guess we will. Practice, hmm? Well I’m curious to see how your hard work has paid off, babe.” 

“Besides, at this point, we can find virtually anything to celebrate,” Sulley teased with a laugh. “No, no, nothing too fancy at all, I promise,” He smiled. “Practice does make perfect, after all,” He smirked. “You’re just gonna have to trust me.”

“You? The ninety year old man?” Athena raised an eyebrow. “Huh” Shaking her head she let out a small laugh. “Have to say I’m impressed. Did you tell Mike yet? You two could goof out about all of that.” 

“Jesus, you aged me up again? I thought I was 70?” Sulley shook his head with a laugh. “I was thinking about getting Mike involved, how’d you know?--Wait don’t answer that, I already know how it’ll go,” He teased. “But uh, yeah, got bored, downloaded the app, cause why not, y’know?”

“A surprise?” Her eyebrows lifted as he handed her the blindfold. “Does it end in the bedroom?” Arista winked at her husband before she covered her eyes and holding out her hand. “You always do know how to keep me on my toes.” 

“Mhm, I know it’s been a while, so y’know, might as well go celebrate, right?” Sulley chuckled. “Hmmmm, perhaps. We’ll just have to wait and see, won’t we?” He teased, nudging the woman with a chuckle. “Let’s just say I’ve had a few years of practice.”

"Don’t judge me...but I downloaded TikTok,” Sulley began with a look towards the brunette. “I have to say...there are a lot of 20 somethings on TikTok now...for now.”

“Okay yeah you’re right that’s a good idea.” Izzie nodded. She was sure that she was probably more nervous than she needed to be however that Was Izzie for you. 

“The moment that’s all shaken off, I promise, you’ll feel just a little bit lighter,” Sulley reassured Izzie with a hopeful grin. “How about we head to the cafeteria first? I can snag you some hot cocoa to get you up and running?”

“Oh wait really?” Izzie asked wide eyed. “That’s pretty crazy.” She admitted to the other man. Izzie giggled. “Well your secret is safe with me. I think you’re doing just fine though especially with Athena as your campaign manager.” It was true Athena would actively tell people that Sulley was grumpy all the time. “I did not.” 

“Yes, really and we all know Apollo has the loosest lips in Santa Monica, unless he’s made to swear on something,” Sulley pointed out with a laugh. “Hm, that’s very true, I got two pretty awesome Team Grumpy gals in town,” He chuckled. “You so did.”

Arista didn’t date. Not seriously anyway. Her ‘boyfriends’ were a series of dates with the same guy that lasted two months max. It was much easier to flirt, go out to dinner a few times, and move on before anyone got too attached. Still, she found herself continuing to come back to Sullivan. “Hey, it’s big news. You’re the talk of the school right now.” After hearing the news, she’d had to congratulate him in person. “I would say I’ll think about it but uh…it would be wrong of me to risk a victory for the school, huh?” As if she would turn him down. 

Sulley had recently gotten out of a very wild relationship, which he was pretty glad his now ex had made her way to study abroad and leave him the hell alone, and here he was once again flirting with Arista Triton, the third Triton, the musician--and boy, did he love the chase with her. “I appreciate your congrats, I know word flies fast around here, but coming from you? Let’s just say, you made my day,” He chuckled. “I think it would, besides, there’s an after party later at Chad’s and if you’re not too busy, maybe I’ll even snag you a burger off the grill?”

“Okay.” Izzie took a deep breath nodding. “You’re right. I know you’re right. I just don’t know why I’m so nervous.” The young woman was going with big shoes to fill being a SUllivan meant something at that school and for tiny little Izzie that was a lot of pressure. 

“Before we go in, let’s just take a breath, and we’re gonna shake it off together, okay?” Sulley reassured his younger sister. The last thing he wanted for her was to feel like she had shoes to fill or that she had to uphold some sort of title. He wanted her to just be her happy self.

“That’s uh wow.” Izzie shook her head in disbelief. That’s a lot damn.” Izzie sometimes thought that she was a nervous wreck but she in times like these was reminded that other people had it a little worse off than her. “Aww look at you. I know people say you’re grumpy but I personally think you’re a big sap.” She grinned brightly. “I did nothing.” 

“Yeah--no one ever knew why. I think Apollo went to ask his mom, but he swore it to the grave, so we’ll never know,” He shook his head in disbelief. “Hey, I’ve got a reputation for grumpy to uphold, that’s our little secret,” Sulley teased with a laugh. “You so did.”

Izzie chewed on her bottom lip nervously. “It’s my first day. What if I don’t like it. What if they don’t like me?” SHe was starting her first day at WDPA as a highschool freshman and the young woman was more than nervous. 

“Iz, you’re gonna be okay,” Sulley reassured his younger sister. “They’ll love you, not because you’re my little sister, but because you’re you. Just be you, okay?”
