This isn't just a restaurant; it's a fully immersive dining experience. The main floor features a massive, grand curved bar as the centerpiece, offering plenty of space for hungry Sims to grab a freshly grilled Krabby Patty. 🍔

💡 How to Stock the Aquarium? To create the 360° effect, I’ve hidden 4 separate fish tanks inside the central coral structure. Hi! I saw your post about the distant “arc” issue, so I did some testing to check if it’s really a conflict. (Sharing here in case anyone else is curious too!)

Here’s the screenshot you posted for reference:

What’s causing the arc?

After testing, it seems this isn’t caused by a conflict with my Better Graphics Solution — it’s simply how Matte Replacement works.

Matte Replacement replaces EA’s flat 2D backdrops with detailed 3D meshes, which makes worlds look amazing. But to keep performance reasonable, those 3D meshes only fully load when you get closer. From some angles, you can see where the distant meshes start to render, and that’s what creates the “arc” shape.

➜ It’s just how the mod handles distant LOD, not a conflict.

My test results

I ran three tests to be sure:

I can’t test Matte Replacement completely alone because the default game has very strong distance blur, which normally hides this issue. So I used two different ways to make the distance clear:

My Better Graphics Solution (it already sets prop $ConfigGroup SsaoEnabled to false, which reduces SSAO shading and makes far backgrounds sharper)

MizoreYukii’s No Blur in Distance mod

Both methods showed the same result: whenever Matte Replacement is used, the arc appears. So it’s definitely a Matte Replacement thing, not a conflict.

Final thoughts

Honestly, Matte Replacement adds amazing depth to the worlds, so this is just a small visual trade-off. But if you ever want to confirm, you can temporarily remove it and see the difference.
