Happy
Not even the womanâs voice disappointed in any way, Imogen thought to herself as she stirred the drink in her hand, mainly to watch the golden flakes rotate in it. It was like seeing gold was a comfort to her, and relaxed her nerves as she took a seat on the stool beside her, delicately tucking her skirt under her as she did so, resting her heels against the stool leg as she crossed one of her legs. The woman in front of her was definitely a pleasure, so she didnât mind continuing the conversation. Generally with her line of work, she tried to avoid familiarity. She didnât need to know anyone beyond thanking them for their money. But.. She really just wanted to see this womanâs face more.
âSumire?â Imogen repeated, as if the annunciation across her lips would allow her to keep it closer in her mind. She gave a smile, as she took a sip of the drink, letting out a quiet, content sigh afterwards. âIs it your favourite business?â She cooed, although Sumireâs flattery definitely did not go unnoticed as she leaned in so they could talk at comfier volumes, her elbows propped on the bar as her voice was now in hushed tones.
âI believe womenâs night is a nice relief from the usual grabby handed men, they can get so rowdy and controlling. Women, however..â She said with a pause, her eyes darting to meet her gaze. âAre so comforting, so patient.. They arenât so needy to get their compulsions, yes?â
âMenââThe mention of the other sex brought about a girlish laugh, the points the other woman made were quite valid. Â Although Sumire wasnât one to generalize, the thought of placing a number of men in a setting like Black Lace brought a wrinkle to her nose. Â More than often, it seemed that the customerâs attitudes were negative towards the beautiful women that were employed at the bar, whereas she believed that each performer deserved appreciation for their sultry charms. Look and appreciate, but donât touch without permission and proper compensation.
âI think the understanding that we as women share delves deeper into the romantic aspects of human relationships, whereas men⊠they get too embroiled in fulfilling their physical desire to truly appreciate the beauty of a womanâs being. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. â Picking up her glass with a coy grin, she sipped delicately. âBut yes, this is my favorite business in all of Chatswin.  Even more than my own boulangerie.â
With her sight beginning to absently wander, Sumire couldnât keep from admiring the otherâs beauty.  While she radiated elegance, there was a certain edge about her aside from ownership of something such as a gentlemanâs club. By hopefully building a relationship, Sumire hoped to find out more about her mysterious new interest.   Â
