The rain wasn’t too heavy in that moment, but she had a feeling it would get heavier later in the evening. Luna glanced at Samuel as the two sat in the parked car. She offered him a soft smile and reached for his hand. “You know I don’t mind getting a little wet. I guess next time we should start keeping our umbrellas in the car,” she told him. She kissed his knuckles before letting go of his hand so the two of them could go inside of the mall. “At least Somi is staying with Haru. I don’t think she would be a happy baby if her stroller got wet.” The kitsune unbuckled her seat belt and leaned over to kiss Samuel’s cheek. “Let’s enjoy a rainy afternoon at the mall. Ready to go inside?”
Samuel smiled softly as he looked over at his wife and let out a chuckle as he nodded to her words,”That sure is true. That’s if we don’t forget again.” He pressed a sweet kiss to her own knuckles before they let go of each others hands and let out a contemplative hum as he unbuckled his seat belt,”I hope she’ll be alright. If this rain turns into a storm she might get upset. You know how she feels about loud noises.” He smiled once more from the kiss to his cheek and placed his hand on the handle of the car,”Mhm, I’m ready, babe. Just wait for me to open the door for you.” He got out of the car then once he made sure to grab his keys and went over to the passenger side where Luna was seated, removing his hoodie to hold it over her once he opened her door. “Here, so you can stay dry. I don’t want you getting sick or anything." The rain was cool against his heated skin, the droplets immediately turning into steam as it made contact.
