william was surprised that someone had reacted to his little outburst. his expression flattened out and his voice was now quiet enough that only the woman could hear him, “just reporting that one of the teens was found.” he almost felt tempted to dig the paper out of the trash to show her, but he opted to take a sip of his coffee instead. “a camp counselor… i think her name was marcy, mercy… something like that. she was found dead at the drive-in with a movie ticket in her hand,” he shrugged, the whole thing making him feel gross inside. “i didn’t read far enough to get all of the morbid details.”

“Oh,” she managed to mutter out as he answered her question and she heard the terrible news. “Oh fuck,” she cursed. It was quiet enough that only the two of them could hear it but she couldn’t refrain from the reaction as she dropped her head into her hands.

at jessica’s words, she had to agree. she could only imagine being a parent at a time like this. the worry would be unbearable. “that makes sense, but i’m sure the kids won’t like being cooped up all day. they probably need some fun. especially at a time like right now.” she shrugged as she pulled up a stool behind the bar to take a seat.

“Right,” she sighed. “If they go ahead with it then the rules are going to be totally different and no sleep away camps because the camps don’t want to be responsible if anything were to happen to any of the kids- like if all of this continues.”

         “well… that is like- the whole point of the suggestion.” he scrunches his nose, though there’s nothing but mischief behind his signature red shades. “i don’t have the much yet- and really it only takes one bottle for each fountain for the bubbles to start. i vote for shoplifting at bed, bath, and beyond and then we cause havoc.”

“Lets go back to the bubbles in the fountain,” Jessica pleaded. “Shoplifting will get us caught and I can’t lose my jobs! I actually like them,” she laughed. “I will help with the bubbles but nothing more! I can pay a fine.”

nodding quickly, zia went to work. “that’s the spirit!” she egged the other on with a point. “at least the day’s not over yet. i’m sure you can turn it around.” she grinned as garnished jessica’s drink with a freshly cut lime and set it down. “have the kids started filling the camp yet? or are you still setting up.”

“I am sure this drink will certainly help with that,” she laughed. “There is a bit of a decline in interest and talk about the camp this year,” she admitted. “With all the disappearances- parents and people are concerned. So we will see.” Jessica said as she picked up the drink and took a few sips of the beverage.

“oh, hell no!” william exclaimed from his seat at the counter of crusty’s dinner. in his hands, he held the latest newspaper reporting on the body found at the drive-in. “this town is cursed as shit, next thing we know all these teens are going to pop up dead,” he shakes his head, crumpling the newspaper up and tossing it into the trashcan by the door.

“What did it say?” Jessica asked as she look to the trashcan where he had thrown the paper. She knew it wasn’t good news based off his reaction and his words. But she didn’t want to go digging into the trash to see what was written.

tuesday nights were a love/hate for her. zia loved the juxtaposition of the blaring music and the near empty club around her. it made her job a hell of a lot easier but the tip jar was usually famished. prepping some limes and lemons, she looked up to greet the patron with a nod. “please tell me your day was most exciting than mine.” she chuckled. “what’ll ya have?”

“Vodka-cranberry, please!” Jessica ordered with a smile on her face. “I do have to disappoint you though. I don’t think my day was all that exciting nor that fun, sadly. But I will have fun after a few of those,” she laughed.

       flynn is beginning to lose his mind with boredom. there’s only so many times a guy can look at clothes before his mind starts considering arson. but the latter is a little harder to avoid being arrested for. so, he lets his mind mull over other plans before a smirk turns up on his lips. when an idea comes to most, it is described as a light bulb turning on- for flynn it’s turning on the entirety of las vegas. “hey, lets dump the whole clothes thing and fill every fountain in here with soap. you down?”

“What?” Jessica asked, looking up quickly as she heard the suggestion. “That is as far as you can get from shopping. Literally the exact opposite,” she laughed. “Do you have that much soap with you or was it just a joke?”

Eric picked up one of the issues of his favorite comic, Archie Weird Mysteries. Mysteries were always his favorite and he loved them. Eric whistled through as he opened the comic and sighed as he saw that ad. It was from that Game that shall not be named, even worse was a sneering collegaue that  he once cared for, forgot. Eric rubbed his temples- he really didnt want to be associated with it. Eric put the comic back and turned around. He didnt realize soeone was there. “Sorry there.” He replied. “I didn’t mean to mke a fuss.” 

“No harm done,” Jessica smiled. “I wasn’t exactly paying attention myself so it is just as much my fault. We can split it 50/50,” she joked as she put a hand up to her beating heart. She had been lost in thought and had no idea that someone was turning back around.

- Born and raised in Coolsville!

- Jessica is first generation and is fluent in Turkish.

- She is very adventurous, active, and athletic! Jessica is down for anything! She will go water skiing one day and snowboarding the next! She likes to have fun.

- Jessica had been going to summer camp every summer since she was seven years old and it was her favorite part of every summer! So it came to no surprise that she moved towards camp counselor. It was something she continued to do during her summers whilst at college and still to this day! She loves camp and loved how much fun she had- so she wants to make sure others have the same experience. 

- Because of her experience in camp and love of arts & crafts, she went to college to become a teacher. She at first thought maybe she wanted to be a history teacher but then realized that she liked history because she grew up making tons of projects for his history classes. It was art that she enjoyed! So she pursued a career as an art teacher and was thrilled that she got a job at Coolsville High as the art teacher.

- Since she is working at the high school, it is hard right now with everyone misses and there is a total atmosphere change in the school and in town. Of course she wants it to be solved but she doesn’t want to solve it herself- it is scary.
