Initial sketch for a concertina card for my Aunty and Uncle.

“I’m wearing all Tibi! I love turning silhouettes on their head and finding new ways to wear the pieces I already own, so I’m actually wearing my trench coat inside out! It gives the look a sportier edge, and honestly, who cares if the labels and product details are showing? Once you lean into something with confidence it automatically becomes the status quo. I’m inspired by everything and everyone who is a visual communicator. Personal style is its own kind of storytelling, and I love being able to read that story in the people around me.”

Antonio Lopez is the Picasso of fashion illustration. Mostly known as just plain ‘Antonio’, he was a giant in the field of fashion illustration. He captured the pulse of style from the 60s to the 80s, and is still revered as the most inspiring illustrator by today’s practitioners. He worked with a variety of materials including pencil, pen and ink, charcoal, watercolor and polaroid film. His work appeared frequently in Vogue, Harper’s bazaar, Elle and Interview.
