The doctor resumed his work, before pausing. 

“I do believe I could require some assistance. As you can probably tell, I am a lone man. I cannot merely build all of these machines alone. I could use some help with retrieving the tools I require and the like.”

Jamison could easily do this alone, yet he felt he should have made the Witch’s visit actually be of purpose, and not for nothing.

      She glanced over at the doctor before eyeing over at the tools. Straightening herself up as she gave herself a moment to think on that little offer of his.

      “..Alright. I’ll assist you with that at least.” In the end, this could teach her a thing or two on this sort of field anyhow. She has studied many sort of spells and magic, but never touched upon science or anything of the sort. One could say magic requires some aspect of it, it’s not really to this extent..So, she wanted to see what makes this so different. And perhaps, maybe she could touch up on it more with her own craft at some point.

      Getting off of her broom, the witch stood at a reasonable distance from the doctor. Ready to assist him with whatever he needs.

“I would say yes, but we work in completely different fields. You work in magic, and I work in science and engineering. It doesn’t mix, I mean, we’re not in a world where alchemy is the magical solvent of our problems, although it would take away a boy’s arm and leg and his brother’s entire being.” Junkenstein explained, a small tone of annoyance in his voice.

He would appreciate the help, but he was not one for assistants.

      Yet he uses the crystal she provides. Though, she can’t say he’s wrong either. Science wasn’t quite as unpredictable as magic can be. Even if science and magic can correspond together, the Alchemist even knew the consequences for such things to happen. And so does the witch herself.

      Still, that doesn’t mean that she isn’t any less annoyed herself. She felt he was underestimating her--very much injuring her ego right there. She lightly tapped her finger against her broom before giving him some distance. “Very well.” Was all she said. Turning her attention to just the lab itself. The different parts laying about and the machines humming. It’s quite strange, to say the least. As much as she’s curious on how it all plays out, she hated the fact she practically visited here for nothing. She had hoped to be even a little entertained while seeing the Doctor. Oh well..

“For a witch, you ask far too many questions. The next horde of Zomnics are being constructed, and I am working on far too many projects to simply focus on one.”  

The doctor proceeded to mutter something under his breath, and resumed what he was doing before she asked; which was making a humanoid machine, presumably for the Lord of the village.

      Allowing her broom to hover, Mercy hops right on it and crossed her legs. Resting her chin on her right hand as she just watches him. For someone who’s going about all over the place, he’s rather cranky. As much as he admires his worth-ethic on these Zomnics, the doctor is also one of her more..busy servants, to say the least. She wouldn’t want to say that it bores her--but by the way he speaks to her, can’t say it doesn’t bother her a bit.

      She hovers on over, being sure not to be in the way while also giving her a good look at his work, “Would you like me to assist you..?” Wouldn’t hurt to lend a helping hand.

      Organizing her items and books, the witch had soon stopped everything as she senses someone approaching her domain. She can only wonder who was so brave, or so foolish enough to find her within this part of the woods. Setting her stuff down on her desk, she walked over to a window and leaned against it. It could very well be a thief--that she has definitely dealt with plenty of times.

      For now, she’ll just wait patiently. There’s no need to be aggressive so soon after all.

“Progression, that word can have many meanings. I could either be almost done, or just started. There are far too many meanings for a single word, my friend.”

      She props her broom against the ground, leaning against it as she just..simply observes the Doctor at her fair distance. While she has grown to be intrigued about his work, she still can only wonder just exactly how many projects this insane doctor could possibly have in mind

      “I suppose I could ask about those Zomnics of yours. If you are to create more of them and the like. However, I’m also curious if you have any new projects..or are you simply going to work on your monster more?” She asked, tilting her head slightly. For the most part, she wanted to see how his mind works. If he were to have him as one of her servants, the best thing is to see where his strengths lie, as well as his weaknesses. If his mind was one-tracked or not.

      “You should give me a bit more credit, Doctor. You still have the one pending as is. But that..I will make for another day. I am simply here to see how far you’re progressing..”

      Within an enchanted forest lies a witch only known as ‘Mercy’. Despite that given name however, those who would know of the stories dare not go near her domain. However, those who are ignorant to them would go onward. Going into the depths of the forest to eventually find a small home with all sorts of trinkets and even some crystals she would harvest. Most coming in for the miracle she provides, healing whatever it is they needed, the price didn’t seem to matter to most.

      After all, she never really gives details. If it was something minor, then she would gladly heal them with whatever is presented to her. They’ll come back for more if she does this after all. And eventually, the exchange would come around. If they fail however..Well..how could anyone really know what happened to those individuals if no one lived to tell the tale?
