I genuinely love it so much when Allen acts all masculine and dominant. This, like that scene where he is trying to stop Lenalee from going after Krowly, is the perfect example. I love how she tells her that she would eventually let her kick him as hard as she wants to. I love how he jokes around and she is all furios and things. And then he gets serious and suddenly hugs her. But the way he does it is what I love the most. He just pulls her against his chest and then, one minute later, they're on their knees. I honestly think that this is a major moment for those two. He could have calmed her down in so many other ways but he chose this particular one. And I think that's suggestive on so many levels. This kind of shows how he is the one who hints that he might feel something more than platonic love for her way more than she does. There have been two moments, so far, when I thought that a kiss was coming. This scene and that one I've already mentioned. And in both scenes he was the 'active' factor, if that makes any sense. I mean, I was given the impress that he was going to kiss her and not vice versa. In both those scenes he gets serious and acts more dominantly. The way he called her name, the look he gave her, how he got slightly closer to her. I actually thought that a kiss was coming. And now this scene. This is much more, in my opinion. His attitude is pretty much the same. But now he hugs her and he is touching her face. And unlike then, he does not call her his 'elder sister' anymore. (By the way, it is pretty obvious that Lavi gets a little bit jelous and hurries up to 'ruin' the moment.) There's also that 'I love...' thing. He did not say that he loved her but we were given the impression that he would (because of those '...'). The fact that he stopped and then said what he loved. He could have said it without pausing. That would mean that he might have meant to say that he loved her. Although we all know that the reality is that we were being teased big time... And of course, that 'the order that Lenalee and everybody are in." Why did he point her out? He loves the order. And we know that Lenalee is in it. He knows it, she knows it too. So why pointing her out? Was it because she was there? Was it because she means more to him that any other person from the order? Why? I could go on and on and on about this two. I could bring up the fact that she is the only one he has this attitude with. He does not act manly around Road, the other girl he is paired up with occasionally. Road is all over him, she is so obvious about linking him but he is just being passive around her. He does not feedback, you know. He does not seem interested in her ...or that's just how it seems to me. Anyway, I love these two.
