PEOPLE THINK I’M ANTI SOCIAL, WHEN IN REALITY…
1. DONT SPEAK UNLESS I’M SPOKEN TOO
2. DONT TALK TO STRANGERS
( MINOR EXCEPTIONS APPLY)
3. DONT TALK WHEN I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY.
IT’S A HIGH POSSIBLY THAT AT LEAST 1 OF THOSE THINGS WILL OCCUR WHICH LEADS ME TO NOT REALLY WANTING TO TALK…
LOL. SO AT WORK I HAVE THE SAME ROBOTIC GREETING TO PEOPLE.. “HEY, HOW YOU DOING? AND THEY TYPICALLY RESPOND WITH ONE WORD AND KEEP IT PUSHING. I LOVE THAT.
ONE TIME THIS GUY JUST DEAD STARTED TELLING ME EVERYTHING ABOUT HIS DAY AND HIS FAMILY AND I WAS LIKE WTF HOW DID I GET MYSELF INTO THIS.
I FELT HIM THOUGH, SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED AN EAR AND A STRANGER EAR CAN BE BENEFICIAL CUZ IT’S LIKE A ONE NIGHT STAND, IF IT’S BAD OH WELL YOU’LL NEVER SEE THE AGAIN, BUT IF IT’S GREAT WE PROBABLY LINK UP AGAIN EITHER WAY IT IS WHAT IT IS.

that is exactly my point of view. if all people were given universal basic income, we could have tens of thousands of boring, tedious, dangerous, and long term harmful jobs done by robots, while humans are free to explore their passions without fear of poverty and homelessness.
in a good society, automation means a boom in the arts. language, painting, music, dance, writing, philosophy, architecture, etc. these are the sectors that advance tremendously during periods of human health and flourishing
Back in the 1960s, we were told that automation and rising productivity would mean shorter work weeks with higher pay. Instead we have multibillionaires, growing poverty, and crumbling infrastructure. The money is all there, it’s just being hoarded.
last night as i was falling asleep i was thinking about the beauty of loving someone in any form and just wanting things with them without any ulterior motives or any other goal. like wanting to be around someone because you love them and want them in your life, not because they can do something for you, wanting to make someone food or make things for them in general not because you expect something in return but because you want them to eat well and to be happy. wanting to hold someone just because you want them close and want to make them feel safe and warm. wanting to wash someones hair because you love them and want to take care of them. anyway i think its really sweet and beautiful how a lot of times when we love someone we do things like this
