Band of Hawks Circus AU🎪

Berserk traveling circus au except the band of the hawk is this infamous wandering circus troupe everyone’s obsessed with because every performance feels borderline supernatural.

Griffith is the beautiful ringmaster people swear can make entire crowds cry just by talking. Casca runs literally everything backstage because this circus would collapse in 12 minutes without her. Judeau’s an acrobat, pippin’s the strongman, rickert handles pyrotechnics, corkus scams rich people between shows then guts shows up. ex gladiator. built like a problem. gets hired as a swordsman act after nearly killing a guy during an underground fight ring. 🤡🎡

The whole thing is very:

dangerous stunts

muddy roads

exhausted performers

fake smiles

codependent found family

“the show must go on” even when people are actively falling apart backstage

and the worst part is griffith genuinely DID give all these broken people somewhere to belong.

guts, freshly 20, works as an underground fighter in an illegal fighting ring. he’s Gambino’s top champion with the longest winning streak.

casca, the right hand in a shady private security group led by Griffith famously called “Band of the Hawk.” they do dirty work for anyone who can pay enough, and are climbing the ranks in the shadows.

one night, the Hawks go to the fighting for a business meeting, but nobody expected Griffith to take an interest in a potential weapon in the ring, and for Casca to become the main way to keep him in check.

Korrasami is growing on me, they’re actually really cute together, but I don’t like some of the shippers because they’re toxic and insufferable toward mako and makorra. I’ll admit masami is cute too, they look good together. Honestly, they all look good together at this point, I wish makorrasami was more popular.

I watched voltron when it first aired, but I never cared to join the fandom, so imagine my surprise when I saw all the klance hate posts and how they terrorized the fandom and allura and allurance. I’m so glad I wasn’t in the fandom during and after the hype, I had it easy. I need to start ignoring more fandoms.

Why is nobody talking about this when that one nonbender told zuko, “big talk for someone who sits on a throne built on centuries of war.” I was gagged.

I’m jealous of the attention and love zutoph is getting while tokka gets more hate and less attention. Its not fair, omg. 💔

When they make the korra movie, they’re most definitely going to keep korra and mako extremely distant and barely interacting, just like they did with zuko and katara in the new movie. I wrote about this in my old blog before I deleted it, and I ended up being right.

Someone made a gambino and casca comparison on reddit. The post pointed out how casca says some of the same things gambino said to guts, especially the dog comments and the blame, which probably explains even more why guts reacted so strongly whenever she said things like that. [LINK HERE 🔗]
