@sundaywildes
when the attack happened, theo found himself in his room, laying in bed. while downstairs all hell was starting to break loose, he barely noticed anything - and probably wouldn’t have until the hunters reached the upper floors. it wasn’t until he felt a rush of panic invade his body, his heartbeat increasing from the adrenaline, but that sensation didn’t belong to him. immediately, he knew something was wrong, he knew that sunday was in danger. and then the screaming and gunshots started.
jumping out of bed, he rushed to the hallway, where students screamed and ran away from the hunters. as a teacher, theo had an obligation to help them, but all he could focus on was finding sunday to make sure he was okay, to protect him — not that the man needed any protection, but it was theo’s nature. focusing on their connection, he pinned the other witch’s location, running to find him with his hands already ablaze, ready to attack anyone who got in his way.
“wildes!” he yelled, having spotted the man from a distance. getting closer, theo fought the urge to hug him in relief. instead, he grabbed him by the shoulders, gazing into the young witch’s eyes, his own heart pounding in his chest. “are you okay? what is going on? are you hurt?”
Sunday was pissed. Furious even. Filled with a righteous fury that would drag these intruders deep into the depths of his soil until they were gasping for air and begging for their lives. No one, not even his students dared come near his prized marigolds, and yet these men, these hunters, trampled all over them. At first a wave of fear and panic had been coursing through his veins, but that was quickly replaced. His eyes narrowing in on the men who had done this, who had destroyed his garden bed. Hands raising up he extends his powers causing the flowers to grow and mutate until massive venus flytraps and dew drops sprouted from the ground. The plants lurching forward latching onto the hunters that dared enter this green house. Their screams filled the glass room, guns firing off at random but missing entirely as the plants continued to devour their treats. “Mother natures a bitch boys, careful not to step on my flowers next time.”
His gaze is cold as ice as he stares at the men slowly being eaten when he hears the voice of Theo calling from afar. Head lazily turning to look at the other man he can feel their connection, their soul bond pulsing. He was worried, afraid even, how precious. A small smile creeps along his lips as he is pulled into Theo’s grasp. Leaning in he steals a quick kiss before whispering “They crushed my fucking marigolds…”
