sun·dry /ˈsəndrē/ of various kinds; several. Sundry is an upcoming Marvel Alternate Universe RP, set in 1991, in a darker world separate from the popular MCU and the rich line of comics (inspired by alternate universe comic publishings such as Marvel Noir). Edgy, bold, mature, sexy, raw, grungy, thrilling, dark and subversive, we also draw tonal inspiration from gen x era defining horror, science fiction and action films, and strive to merge the past with the present and future, creating something cinematic in feeling and tone, through everything from the stories to claims. Our ultimate goal is to replicate the escapist fantasy that movies provide, while also paying homage to late 80s / early 90s popular culture, and sprinkling in the real world themes of the science fiction and horror films referenced; Films like Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, The Terminator, T2: Judgement Day, Robocop, Predator, Escape From New York, They Live, The Thing, The Fly, IT, Near Dark, The Lost Boys, Candyman, The Crow; action films like Point Break and Die Hard; the film Logan; Series like Stranger Things; A24 Films / modern, innovative independent sci-fi / horror; era defining albums like Nirvana's Nevermind and more.
