Talking to your roommate online can be awkward at first, but honestly, it takes so much of the stress out of moving in… It won’t be a stranger waiting in a dorm room for you, it’ll be someone that you’re at least acquainted with, and that can make all the difference.

First morning at college. Our window faces the east, so the sunlight around 7:14 was like, "HELLO CHILDREN, WAKEY WAKEY, EGGS AND UV RAYS."

This is my last full week at home, and that’s a weird realization.

This blog is going be pretty quiet until August, as that’s when college begins (!!), but I’ll start posting around July. I realize college won’t be all rainbows and butterflies (finals, midterms, 8am classes, roommates, WINTER…) but that won’t stop me from looking forward to it.
