Just blew some minds in a feminist group about the bullshit you hear from other women about infertility. They say you are not "real" woman, you do not know what "true love and joy" is if you cannot give birth, etc. I literally had a doctor tell me I was lucky my boyfriend stays with me because of my "issues" after I mentioned I couldn't have kids.

I get that it's not a topic often discussed openly but the prejudice against people with infertility issues is MASSIVE. And it results in an internal shame you take upon yourself for something that 100% is not your fault because of people like that is intense. It's hard to work through.

I didn't realize that people, especially a group of anti-TERF feminists, didn't know how bad it was so here's your reminder not to pull this on people. Having fertility issues does not make you any less in anything. You are whole and valued and wonderful.
