We have officially ended our breastfeeding journey. I wish I had a picture of the last time but I honestly didn’t even think that it really would be. It’s now been over a week since the last time we breastfed. It has been a total of 2 years and 10 months that we were so blessed to be able to have done it. And I don’t wanna hear about how that’s “too long” because each child is different and the health benefits speak for themselves. I’m so grateful for this season with her. I’m so grateful for our journey. For this bond. It may have come easy for us in the beginning, which after such a rough pregnancy was such a blessing in of itself, but we had our rough moments too. It was exhausting, tiring, and draining. Emotionally, physically, and mentally. There were many sleepless nights, many tears, many adjustments. And now we are starting a new chapter. I’m sad to leave this behind because it means she is officially no longer my baby. If you are breastfeeding or plan too. Take pictures even if you never share them, even if it’s only for a short time, trust me when I say you will look back and fondly remember, even in the hard moments. I’m so thankful I have so many pictures of the good times and the bad. So here’s to the next chapter. Love you pumpkin. Here are some of my favorite photos of the good times and the bad.
