while I loved crookedstar and willowbreezes' romance and I believe bluestar and yellowfang are true mates, I wish this romance could have been explored more in their super editions. I could see them learning much more about each others' clans and gaining a deeper appreciation for each others' lives and culture, especially as they grow to be leaders of their respective clans. it hurt bluestar so much to discover that crookedstar was more than willing to put his loyalty to riverclan over their friendship/budding romance

the fact that both oakheart and snowfur died so fucking young hurt me so much. we had so many good seasons to spend together and they were just taken from us by the cold fucking truth of reality. snowfur didn't even live to see Bluestar become leader. getting through giving up my kits was so fucking hard and I know it would have been so much easier with her by my side. god

btw not that anyone is reading this but the reason I don't typically use "I" when I refer to my kins is really just to avoid confusion since I have multiple kintypes and because I don't want to make the OPs of posts uncomfortable when I write some notes when I rb

sometimes I lay awake at night and dream of what could have been if the clan weren't so bigoted about cross clan relationships. like imagine crookedstar as crookedpaw showing bluepaw riverclan camp for the first time after talking about it to her forever... and she gets to meet brambleberry and shellheart and understand crookedpaw more after meeting rainflower just... so much wasted potential. it's crazy that human will say shit along the lines of "you won't meet your soulmate in your hometown" but cats are expected to find their soulmate in their own tiny clan. okay. make it make sense
