Idk if Herinteractive actually reads the emails they receive from fans, or even cares, but after checking my email this morning and find one from them filled with reviews of MID, intended to convince me to buy the game, I shot off this reply:
I probably could have worded some things better, but I've been awake for twenty minutes and wanted to send the email before I forgot about it.
I still can’t wrap my head around this, why does it spell CRY? Did they know we would call the crystal skull like that? Crystal skull did get released next so it does feel like foreshadowing, but.. how?
remember back in the good old days of HeR where they would basically just write fanfictions of historical figures and make that the plot of the game
Wouldn’t a normal person address this to Mr. and Mrs. Murphy on the right? Yes, the street, city, and state are the essential info for delivery but it’s still strange to put “mom and dad” in lieu of names registered to that address. Unless… Mom and Dad ARE their names!

The Final Scene is 100% my all-time favourite game and I'm not sure if it's because it's the first ND game I ever played, my lifelong theatre fixation, the unparalleled SASS of the dialogue, or low-key sexual attraction to Nicholas Falcone (I'm going with all of those things)

My Mom Reacts to ND Characters (Part 1)
Inspired by this post, I’ve shown my mom some ND characters and asked for her first impressions. Yikes.
mom: hey im sexy and I’ve never seen the sun
mom: it looks like if i talked to them they would say “bruuuuuuuuh”.
me: that’s it? anything else?
mom: are they dating each other? why are they in a tunnel? Also that vest looks stupid.
mom: She looks like a second grade teacher. Or a madam. Either way she is probably really annoying. Why tf does her hair look like a thimble? The shape of her hands makes me really uncomfortable.
Mom: I think he’s not sure about his sexuality. Also that’s a nice shirt. he’s kinda hot too, damn, wait who is that i wanna google him
Mom: This guy has ARRIVED. He KNOWS what his sexuality is.
mom: ew what the fuck happened to him, why did they take away his luscious hair??? it looks like someone sat on him. why is there a porta potty in the background? is he at a carnival?
Mom: what the FUCK??! *cackles* why is he wearing a morphsuit?? His name is probably Vladimir Nikola and he is about to go on a run because of his little arm radio. Why is he in a basement? A Short Nancy Drew Story Time:
So I’m working as a CNA in a memory care facility to get patient care experience as I apply for medical school, and the other day I was helping a resident into bed and she starts singing to me:

Eunice McPhee. She used to be a librarian until she got fired and now hordes trash in her barn like a recluse. Horrifically enough, she still thinks she’s at the library, and “rents” out her garbage to anyone with a “library card.”
Deborah Langley. Cult escapee. She still believes herself to be the human incarnation of the Great Moon Kitty. Every night she meows at the moon from her windowsill, hoping that tonight might be the night that she finally assumes her true divine form.
Reggie from Riverdale. Nothing else to say.
Cecillia Shadworth. Heiress to the Shadworth fortune. Don’t ask her about her family’s holdings in apartheid-era Africa and colonial India. And definitely don’t ask her about her bumper stick that reads “The sun never sets on the British Empire.” Unironically believes in the White Man’s Burden.
Damien Schaefer. Big-league Hollywood actor with all the negative tropes that come with it. Thinks he’s a huge freak in the bed but only fucks with missionary, cowgirl, and doggy style
Her real name is like Sarah Brown or some shit but she tells people to call her Violet Marigold. Absolute edgelord whose parents sent her off to a boarding academy because she was so insufferable. Just okay at playing cello. Organizes one-woman flash mob protests purely for attention.
Ted Smoak. Gym rat locked in the closet by adamantium chains. Forever working on his “tech startup.” The app he’s developing changes weekly. His Instagram bio says “entrepreneur.”
Steve Rockwell. He’s on a register. I won’t go into more details.
Gina Lopez. Radiating powerful stern mom energy. Is tired of your shit.
Private Dick Mulligan. Enlisted with the army but got hazed aggressively for his beautiful lady eyes. While serving in Afghanistan he got involved in a drug smuggling operation and acts as a heroin mule
