I think that alters should be allowed to identify as the race, nationality, or ethnicity they are in headspace.
If you're alter is Japanese and headspace they should be allowed to identify as Japanese And etc I don't understand why it's normalized to let alters go through dysphoria or discomfort in the body that they're in because if they don't identify as something that they're not (like having to identify as white and a white body) it's a bad thing.
No I'm going to let my altar call themselves whatever they want to be. Whatever brings them comfort. I'm not going to put them through that distress because others don't support it.
