Lots of abuser wont change their behavior because there's people who have a savior complex cuddling them.

I would know, I've been sexual abused by a ex friend, who would also try to give me harmful drugs and addictions, and other things I won't say for safety, but when I knew it was time to speak up about what was happening, people who I thought were my friends do switched up on me and was threatening me into silence.

I was told to k1ll myself, I was stalked, I was even assaulted by them when I was walking home from school. It got so bad I had my mom take me to and from school and friends Walking me to classes for my safety

It was because my abuser was transgender and had a drug problems/addiction they were trying died from their family and telling my school about what was going on would hurt their home life. Also the sexual assault and drug manipulation was taking seriously because "it was just friends flirting"

I didn't consent to anything.

I'm still traumatized, I'm still scared, I'm still hurt and I forever have a burning hatred for them and their friends for putting me through this.

But, it made me realize that this is a problem. Abuser will have friends like these who don't see there flaws or don't see anything wrong with them

It doesn't help abusers change, it doesn't help them because better people, it only helps harm victims.
