✦ BRIANNE TJU, NONBINARY FEMME, SHE/THEY ✦ SUNNY CHO the TWENTY SEVEN year old has been in Hidehill for THREE YEARS and was a EX COWORKER to Jade Parker, the missing  first murder victim. Whispers on the streets are that the ART TEACHER who lives in HIDE SQUARE. They are said to be CREATIVE and CLOSED OFF but I guess we’ll find out for ourselves.Â
sunny lived most of her life as a kid doing anything and everything she could to make her parents both happy and proud of her. if anyone could describe her using two words in school? it would more than likely be book worm and she didn’t mind being described in that manner anyways because if it kept her from being scolded by her very strict parents then that was good in her book.Â
things, unfortunately, changed when she turned fifteen and lost her parents in a car accident. it wasn’t something she ever prepared herself for. in fact, she thought they’d always be by her side cheering her on but that wasn’t what life had planned. due to having no close family that was willing to take the girl in, she was forced into foster care.
being both devastated from the loss of her parents and alone caused the girl to act out. she was suddenly not the girl everyone knew before. she skipped school, started hanging out with the wrong people, and was shifted from home to home, no one really wanting to keep her around due to her behavior.Â
once she was eighteen though, she was tossed out right on the streets and soon realized that she couldn’t keep living her life the same way she was. she cleaned herself up, as much as she could, and graduated high school. she sent herself to college while working two jobs just to keep herself afloat and landed a teaching job soon after graduation.
she was always the teacher that kind of stood out due to appearance and her gender. most though it was weird, jade included, but regardless jade never made her feel as though she didn’t belong. in fact, the two of them got along pretty well but never hung out outside of work.

She had always been a creative soul, choosing to draw and paint pictures when she was a little girl over making up stories for her dolls. The variety of colors and combinations they could make was always fascinating to her and her young eye for aesthetics. As she got older, she found that drawing was a good way for her to destress.
She was no Van Gogh by any means but she loved art and painting when she could and she could spend hours at an art museum admiring every piece of art. So, it was no surprise that she had befriended Sunny aka the local art teacher and fellow creative soul. It was Millie’s idea that they take a wine and painting class just for fun and maybe Sunny could help whisper some pointers.
It was a genius idea for La Louvre to offer some classes for additional funds. However, she was growing a little nervous as she sat down on one of the stools in front of an easel. She knew the class was meant to be fun but she always tended to put a lot of pressure on herself to strive for perfection.Â
“Full disclosure, I just booked the first class I saw that was available for both of our schedules, so I have no idea if there might be nude models or not,” she joked, but that would be quiet the surprise.
sunny didn’t have a lot of friends and the people in her life weren’t necessarily into art as much as she was but millie was one of those people. the black haired femme was thankful to get out of the house for something other than work. with everything that had been going on in hidehill lately, she’d been paranoid, as she was sure a lot of the other people around here were. they definitely felt better to have millie by their side though.
they looked over at millie as they spoke and let out a laugh, “it wouldn’t be my first time painting someone naked and that’s definitely a story we’ll have to get into later. i don’t want to have to explain that right now.” sunny confessed. “you know, i didn’t even know that they offered these classes. leave it to you to find something fun to get into.”
gabby smirked as she looked up from the desk to see sunny walk into her tattoo parlor again. “i’m starting to think you’re just comin’ over here to see me,” she teased. “always got time for you, sunny,” gabby said, before raising an eyebrow at sunny’s words, a teasing smile on her lips. “and we both know you’ll still let me do whatever i want with you, babe,” she coyly said, before putting on a thoughtful expression, checking out the tattoos already on her skin. “you want something mushy? like something to commemorate a happy memory?” gabby asked. “or something completely fucking random? like, what were you more into as a kid? dragons, spooky stuff, mermaids or fairies?” she curiously asked. “something abstract maybe? shooting in the dark here, sunny,” gabby admitted with a laugh.Â
“maybe i am and maybe i’m not.” sunny wouldn’t admit to anything, especially if it made her seem like she cared too much about her. that was the thing about them, they liked ot have fun together but they were never going to be anything but friends. friends who slept together. that was it though. “you could be right.” and she was. sunny was a sucker for their nights spent rolling around the sheets. it was one of the things she looke forward to most. “definitely something random. give me something spooky. halloween’s coming up anyways.”
“-i know, i know. don’t say it.” sunny had been in the tattoo shop a number of times in the past couple of weeks. it was her way of coping with all the drama and bs going on around town. she plopped down in the girl’s tattoo chair, “please tell me you have an opening. i’ll let you do whatever you want to me.” she paused, realizing how it sounded and almost laughed, “you know, tattoo wise. for now, anyways.” she teased softly. the two of them had some sort of thing but it wasn’t serious and it wasn’t ever going to be. it just wasn’t who the two of them were and she was good with that. she wasn’t a fan of commitment anyways. “any ideas?”
The sun had long set, the rest of Hide Square looking particularly dark and quiet, Yeji quietly making her way outside of Dave’s Liquor Store with a bag in hand. She’d developed this awful habit as of recent, staying out in town far later than she needed to, running errands or picking up food in the late hours. Or in this case, getting alcohol. All the bars seemed to close early these days, given the towns curfew, which she was technically breaking in this very moment. And these days, she found it easier to unwind after a drink. With only a slight breeze heard, she assumed that no one was around, making her way down the steps of the store, intending to walk home. What she didn’t expect was to come face to face with someone, barely saving herself from tripping “Shit, you almost scared me,” she let out with a breath, composing herself almost immediately. “It’s a little late to be out, no?”
sunny didn’t realize she’d fallen asleep at her desk. while she wasn’t really best friends with jade, it still kept her on her toes and she was uncharacteristically paranoid. she didn’t know what she was going to happen and she didn’t know if she could potentially be one of the next victims. the stress of it all caused her to sleep less than usual but somehow, she felt safer at school and maybe it was because there were more people around. when she woke up, she knew she needed to get home because by the way it looked outside, she could tell it was past curfew. the walk home definitely made her on edge and that’s why running into the other nearly gave her a heart attack. “jesus,” she gasped, clasping her chest and letting out a sigh. “i could say the same to you. what are you doing out here?”
Location: Giovani’s Bakery
Who: Noah Von & @hidehillstart OPEN
It was not unusual to spot Noah Von at Giovanni’s Bakery, especially early in the morning before a shift. It was his favorite spot to grab a fresh pastry and even a cup of coffee before heading to the office. Though the coffee wasn’t as good as Coffee Stop, it did the job and prevented Noah from making two stops.Â
Thanking the staff once his sweet treats were given to him, Noah turned to leave the establishment. However, as he neared the door, he saw a familiar face. Taking a sip of his coffee, he waited for the other to enter. “I don’t usually see you out and about so early.” He chuckled, taking a sip of the coffee in his hand. “You look like a zombie, by the way.”
sunny wasn’t a morning person. in fact, they often found themselves running late for work but this morning, they’d given themself enough time to stop first thing for a cup of coffee. it was the closest place to her house and she was ready for some caffeine to take on the kids in the classroom. “that’s because i’m normally in bed at this time.” sunny announced and then raised her eyebrows, “wow, thank you. that was totally sweet of you to say. maybe next time consider keeping a comment like that to yourself.”
