I scrapped the whole idea recently, but I’ve been making seperate stand alone stories for all my golden guard ocs! I really like the characters and wanted to do something original with them.

Originally, Judas was going to be apart of a cult. It morphed into the cult leader, but one controlled by his advisors with no real control or influence other than his image. But I scrapped that completely! It’s very different now. :]

I couldn't tell either!! But most likely, yeah, they just followed their bones down in the pit. The whole reason their ghosts were tied to the palace was because of the emotion and unfinished business in the place. With it destroyed, and with spirits still restless, they simply popped up back in the pit.

Does Hunter have an opinion ON the GG ghosts?

Since he grew up with them in this AU, he’s pretty much just used to them. Their squabbles sometimes are confusing, but a lot of them are just tough older brothers that cant talk and let him do whatever he wants. Sometimes they annoy him, slapping him on the back too hard when he masters a move, all that. Some of them are scary, or weird, but he just tended to stray away from them.

After learning out the truth it got more.. complicated. I mean how do you even react to that? He’d never questioned why he saw them in his dreams before, never questioned why there was so many or who they were. It’d been so normalized for him that it just never felt strange. And it’s not like they could tell him themselves. He didn’t get a lot of sleep after hollow mind. Seeing them made him sick.

They’re all there whether they like it or not LOL a lot of the grumpy ones just wait around angrily. They can’t say much anyways, usually get into squabbles with eachother. A lot of the time the guards space out and hang around specific others, like Cain and Judas particularly get along.

Cain would be the closest id say! He’s very rational and stonefaced, gives things at face value and is always happy to listen to any of Hunter’s rants. He finds them interesting. Cain’s close with a lot of them because of this, but specifically Hunter and Judas are his favorites.
