I'm just curious if you're also sewing clothes for your dolls and if so, do you have some advice for someone who wants to start sewing doll clothes?

Hi, I sew almost exclusively for my dolls. In my opinion it's much easier than for people and my dolls don't complain. ;) Sorry if you already know some of these things, but I wanted to include as much info as possible in case it helps anyone. I say making sure you have the right tools is the most important thing. My two most used items are my tiny iron (clover brand, meant for appliques) and believe it or not locking forceps for turning tiny seams. Pinking sheers are nice if you don't plan on finishing the seams, which can look very bulky in doll clothing, fray check looks fine too. For small trims/buttons I buy white from Aliexpress in bulk and dye/paint them as needed since it only takes a cap full of fabric dye. It's a lot more cost effective if you already sew and have fabric dye in your supplies, and ensures I always have what I need since it takes forever to ship (I haven't found a good local source for tiny trims yet). You'll want fabric with a smaller print as well, I print my own on printable fabric sheets which work very well for doll clothes. I also keep fabric glue on hand for the tiny little details like buttons too small to sew. A small twill tape and some tulle can be helpful for sewing seams, depending on the pattern. If you plan on making headbows, a strong flat aluminum wire bent into shape and finished off with a ribbon on the ends works well. Zippers can be cut to size, invisible zippers look best since they're less bulky, or you can order 4" zippers. Pay lots of attention to the seam allowance. If you're a tiny amount off it really makes a difference. If you find your fabric getting sucked up into your machine because of the tiny seam allowances, you can buy a straight stitch plate for your machine. I usually start in the middle to avoid this if I can and stitch to one end, then start in the middle of the project again and stitch to the other end. I stitch slower than normal on doll projects. You can always enlarge the seam allowance if it's giving you trouble. I mostly sew for blythe, but I imagine with larger dolls this wouldn't give too much of an issue. If you're sewing for blythe, pullip or jenny there are a ton of free patterns available. Archive.org if you search "doll coordinate recipe" or "my favorite doll book" a bunch come up. They're in japanese, but fairly easy to understand. Joann Hinds has a wonderful set of videos on making doll clothes called "How to Make Doll Clothes: Sewing Techniques". She makes american girl clothes, but I found it useful when I started sewing for blythe and she explains everything so much better than I ever could.
