This potato works. Every. Fucking. Time.
Reblogging because it’s a damn potato and I want to encourage people to assume potatoes are magical.
congrats to yujin mikotoba for abandoning not one but TWO babies at birth
with my page soon to be filled with tgaac content. a normla conversation about this game is just me being a very autistic little freak . but . i am genuinely so so so so sad that more people wont experience the great ace attorney. one reason ? the franchise namesake, the main series fandom / public perception covers more of the surface level stuff or silly stuff, WHICH IS LIKE PART OF THE GREAT THINGS!! THIS WHOLE FRANCHISE IS A BIG INTEREST 4 A REASON!!! THE MAKER OF TGAAC IS THE SAME GUY WHO MADE THE ORIGINAL TRILOGY! but. its a little devastating not enough people know of tgaac, let alone will play it ? the idea of the amount of people who wont start this game and go through the first trials. experience the start of the characters developing and first hints of the lore the game builds up through every tiny dialogue and piece of, initially swept under information, information that will come back as more and more is revealed in the most genius and effective of ways. the games length is used perfectly, and every character, every "side" plot, every second is worth it. and what does it lead up to? the most emotions i have EVER felt consuming any piece of media EVER. in my entire life, which is saying A LOT if u know the media i consume !!! the pay off of the building of the story, the fact that each character has just a far reaching and extensive history that connects to the main events of the story, telling so many stories over the course of one conclusively, it's a masterpiece . the extremely high stakes of the final chapter, the meticulous unraveling of the twisted up cloth, the most emotionally and narratively rewarding climax to the story, i won't use the word "masterpiece" in any media i talk about or analyze, and the trust i hope anyone i love has in me when i recommend this game to them, it won't be unfounded, because i know they'll love it just as much as i do. i can write like. a thousand separate essays on every single thought i have, but i have to hold myself back because the best way 2 go into this game is as blind and ignorant as possible, and that SUCKS!? despite , as one creator put it in their video "the problems with ace attorney and how tgaac fixed them all", this game takes the very , very best of the innovative nature of the first trilogy and weeds out every glaring flaw, polishing it to absolute perfection and cementing the great ace attorney as a thoughtful love letter to the detective stories it heavily criticizes aspects of and blooms a beautiful narrative in inspiration from. my passion for immersive and expansive storytelling is a big factor in my passion for this game, and another of my special interests, mob psycho 100!! while they are quite different, they share in the sense of going on a journey just as much as playing a game or watching a show/reading a manga. when tgaac has no fans, it means i have died. thank u ive got a gigglign sessioj over my tgaac playlists 2 commence..
whens the lavender marriage !!!
whatever is coming out of his mouth should scare u. it will be insane i fear

I just realized that the scales of justice in TGAA look like a bow with an arrow nocked to point at where the jury was leaning and the most unique part of Ryunosukes character design is his archery arm guard. My other theory about that was mostly that it was symbolic that Karuma didn't belong to him, to point out specifically that he is not a swordsman but he carries a sword anyway since they're on the same side. It's not the weapon he was trained to use but it's the one he has anyway and that could be a parallel to his entire law career tbh.
for some reason, Ryunosuke's arm guard as an important part of his design despite not having any plot or personal relevance bothered me a little. It's the one thing that he keeps throughout costume changes that he has for both of the games and in his official art but it's not like being an archer is an important part of his identity. There's always so much thought put into AA character designs that it really stuck out to me, but honestly, maybe it's not that deep, and he just likes archery as a hobby even though he probably didn't bring a bow to england and still wears it every day anyway like there has to be something with that

It’s so funny how this is almost completely wrong. “Barok is largely cool and collected in the courtroom” this is the man who crushes his wine glass in his hand when he’s mildly annoyed and also slams his leg on the desk. It calls him *the* barok van zieks too like he’s some kind of creature. Like they’re observing him in his natural habitat: the courtroom
