Hi, so, I've been gone for a while. Honestly I was planning to be gone for longer, as I'm currently healing from some trauma and some recently discovered things I won't get into. However, I've recently become aware of things that have forced me to say something.

I've always loved and adored interacting with people about my oc's, especially people creating content with them. Someone even wrote a fic of one of them once and I was beyond thrilled to be told about it. It means someone loved my character enough to imagine them in a scenario with theirs. It was very special to me and I love and cherish every single interaction I've gotten.

However, there is a certain point where you cross over a line. My characters are deeply personal to me. I put a lot of myself in them and I work through things with them. At the end of the day, they are mine.

I have recently been made aware that someone is purchasing commissions of my oc's without my permission or input. I know this person, and we are no longer in contact, but I went to browse a commission site and stumbled across art of my character I did not purchase. There are certain circumstances surrounding what this person is doing that makes it worse, but this is not a callout post to them and I do not ever intend to write something like that. I had hoped when we parted ways that they could no longer act in ways that would hurt me. It seems I was mistaken about this. To the person doing this, if you see this somehow: Please stop commissioning art of my oc's. I do not care if they are an "AU". Do not use my art as a reference. Do not use their names. Please stop.

To everyone else: I have not given permission for my characters to be commissioned like this. If you see art of them from another artist that does not tag me, does not seem to be for me, and features another character, then I genuinely have no idea it was made. I'm perfectly okay with people yumeshipping with my characters, for the record. And if you get permission from me it's all fine. But this is not the case.

For any artist who has unknowingly drawn my characters or been lied to by the commissioner: it's okay, and I am not upset with you. Please just kindly no longer take commissions like this.

I doubt this will reach most of the artists because I guarantee a lot of commissions have gone on where no one could see them, but I needed to make a post. I am deeply hurt and frankly unbelievable angry.
